Stagecoach Inn

We arrived early and they made a good effort to get us rooms as soon as they could. The bed was horrible.....probably the worst hotel bed I’ve ever been on. This place has been under construction forever and still is. The first time we were there we had to change rooms. You cannot park close to your room. The restrooms are nice but need counter space. Need comfortable chair(s) in room. No frig. Or ironing board in room. Restaurant is way below average. The pool had not been cleaned in some time. While I appreciate and support the idea of bringing back a historic hotel there is a lot to be desired to make this an average hotel. I won’t make this mistake again.

The stay was relaxing. The room was cozy. It did have an odd smell when we first got there. Not sure if it was the cedar on the walls.

Convenient location and nice and clean rooms. Landscape around bldg 3 needs attention, overgrown weeds. The restaurant was overpriced for what you get. Trout was 1/4" thick or less and bland. Gratuity added for 6 or more regardless how the service is, which was slow.

Great stay! Loved everything about it! Might suggest the restaurant and bar area staying open after 8 pm on weekends, that was the only suggestion I would make. Will most definitely be back!

The pool is first-class

This place is beautiful - The grounds, the history surrounding it, the people who work there and the little village it’s in. We loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The grounds have beautiful landscaping especially the pool area, beautiful trees and plants create a tropical setting. The room could have been cleaner, the pool needed a skimming and the coffee pot did not work but the location is excellent for walking to shops restraunts and the creek. very peaceful setting.

The Stagecoach Inn is historic to Salado. However, most of the history has been demolished and rebuilt as it is today. It is located in a perfect area for the places we like to go while in Salado. The beds are VERY comfy, landscaping around the rooms and pool are beautiful and the rooms are very inviting. I would recommend this establishment to anyone.

The property is near the Salado creek and right across from the core of town. Excellent location. One thing I would caution is the "pool side service" requires you to call the front desk and order drinks and then it's brought out. There is no wait staff to coming to ensure food. Otherwise, good hotel for a great location to the brewery, the creek, and the restaurants.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to stay. Everything is always perfect. The staff is incredible and we love the rooms and the hotel grounds. We spent a very enjoyable evening at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed the pool that night.
