Everything is excellent. The hotel is new and facilities are nice.

The whole stay was excellent from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful staff, great location, excellent room with excellent view. Choice of restaurants and bars was nice. Food was very good. According to my son, the minibar might have been slightly better stocked , but I was happy with it and don't have any constructive suggestions.

I booked this through hotels.com and it was booked as pay at hotel. However the hotel was sold out on july 10 and emailed me that they would have to charge me for my stay or cancel my booking which was for 3 days. I though this was very unprofessional since they had my credit card as a guarantee and could charge it had i not shown up. I talked with hotels.com went to the hotel and they all said it was ok, however the hotel still charged my entire stay prior. It is very unprofessional to not honor a booking and threaten to cancel my booking if I dont pay I was traveling and it was very stressful to think i would not have a place to stay which I booked months in advance.

We paid for the breakfast to be included in the room rate and only ate there the first day - it was so bad that we just decided to go out and purchase breakfast elsewhere. The air conditioner also barely worked so we were sleeping in 27 c degree weather every night (per the room’s thermometer). It was really unbearable for such an expensive and new hotel. We were truly disappointed. The rooms were modern, new and clean but we wouldn’t stay here again, would probably opt for the Blue Sky instead.

My friend and I had a lovely stay at Novotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, although I did find it strange that they did not have a full length mirror in the room I stayed. The breakfast buffet was not included in the price, and it was not so good, maybe because it is the low season. My friends waffle was over cooked and hard. If you are gluten free it it is a bit tricky as well because they put their bacon on bread, as a filler I guess. The pool, sauna and gym are very nice. Overall, O would recommend staying at Novotel.

The stay was fine. It's a brand new hotel, and everyone was very helpful. It's clear that there are still some issues to work out -- the elevators were out, and it was absolutely boiling in my room, with very little way to cool things down aside from opening the window (not advisable given UB pollution). Definitely a good value for money.

The best hotel I stayed at in Ulaanbaatar. Immaculate, new, and with a fantastic staff! Best buffet, too.
