#1 Rated Vacation Home w/ Deep Water on the Main Channel

This house is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Absolutely nothing we would change. We are already checking our calendars for our return trip.

My family and I attended a wedding over the thanksgiving holiday in Hickory, NC. It was the first time in my life I had not celebrated this occasion at home, so it was important to me to find a place for my family to celebrate thanksgiving and still feel like we were at home. This location checked all of the boxes. It was as if we had never left our house. Our hosts' were very attentive to our needs as well. They gave us a few last minute updates prior to our arrival, and they provided several different ways to contact them if there was a need. Bottom line, we will defiantly stay here again.

Great Location with beautiful view! Owners are fantastic to deal with! We plan on making this an annual event.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful Spring get together with our adult children. Travis and Lesa were easy to work with before the visit when we needed to make a schedule change. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved having the grill. Lots of outdoor spaces for enjoying the fresh air and the amazing views across the lake. Morning coffee on the front porch, lunch and afternoon cards on the lower level picnic table when the temps were cool but the sun felt warm, and time on the covered deck mid afternoon when the temp got warm and the sun was bright. We had two dogs along, both under the age of 18 months, so the fenced-in front yard was perfect for puppy play. Just open the door and let them run. We were fortunate to have terrific weather and spectacular sunsets every evening!

Our family is so grateful to Travis and and Lesa for such a perfect week long escape to the lake. The house was just as beautiful as described and in an ideal location on the lake. The dock was perfect for jumping off, fishing from, and sunbathing. The fire-pit and patio was fun for the kids to make s'mores and relaxing for the adults as we watched the gorgeous sun sets each evening over the peaceful waters. The kitchen had everything we needed when cooking meals and downtown Hickory was an easy drive when we wanted to eat out. We could have easily stayed another week and not run out of things to do. Already looking forward to our next trip! Lastly - the hosts were extremely helpful with check in and check out. I took comfort knowing that if we needed them they were extremely responsive, but otherwise left us to do our thing and disconnect. Just wonderful, thank you!

First, the homeowners are extremely down to Earth and easy to contact if you need them during your stay. Best location to stay if you have a boat, the launch area is right around the corner. If you don't have one that is fine because your view of the lake and sunsets are to die for. Excellent home for Mom and Dad to be on the main floor and kids down below with a private game room. This is our second stay and can't wait for the third.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely lakeside home. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. The view of the Lake was amazing!

Our daughters had a dance competition in Lenoir and this lake house was just a few minutes farther than driving to Hickory for a hotel. The view of the lake was wonderful and the owners were very responsive and accommodating. We were greeted with a nice welcome basket and there was more than just the bare necessities such as cream and coffee. Direct TV actually had the recording option available.

Time on Lake Hickory in this amazing house flew by way too fast!!! The owners, Lesa & Travis Roffler were great. I had a few questions, I texted and was answered immediately. The play room, dock with the kayaks, outdoor fire pit, everything, was just like it shows in the pictures, amazing.....The house was clean and all we needed was our clothes and food. It was a great place to relax and entertain our NC family. Needless to say, we would love to stay in this lovely home again.

We had a wonderful time at Lake Hickory! The home is in excellent condition and well cared for! The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. Sunsets on the dock where our favorite! Your family will not be disappointed! The owners were very accommodating and helpful! We will definitely be back!
