Nice hotel, recommended for family trip

Lovely view from the minsu. Rooms are cosy too. Very hospitable and friendly owners. We especially loved the wholesome and delicious breakfasts that were prepared for us every morning. Was also great to have the resident cats and dogs come say hello to us every day! Only downside was this: staircase leading to the minsu was under construction though as some pipe (sewage?) had to be replaced so that was a little dangerous to walk, but there's an alternative route that's much safer, though a little longer.

We spent nine days driving around Taiwan and stayed in many different hotels, but this one was, by far, our favorite. I was really happy that we got a room with a balcony; it’s definitely worth the extra cost. The views were fantastic, and the balcony was large and comfortable. The room was spacious, with an indoor seating area in addition to the balcony seating. The bathroom was nice and clean, and the tub was great. The bed was soft and super comfy; we both slept really well. It was several sets of stairs to get up to the main area of Jiufen, so keep that in mind. Also, I would strongly recommend coming in the afternoon and enjoying the hotel views until the tour buses have left Jiufen, as the streets were REALLY crowded until about 7.30 or 8. After that, it was wonderful. Breakfast was very good, and the dining room is really cute and cozy. Would 100% recommend and hope to have the chance to go back someday!

The views are amazing and you will be suprised how the view changes depending on the weather. Try taking a bath while looking out over Keelung at night! A shame to leave so quickly. Would defibitely recommend to anyone!

老闆親切熱誠，房間乾淨舒適，早餐清爽可口。整體上是喜歡的，以後來還會想住這一家。 但這訂房網糟透了。訂房時付款網頁上明明標著豪華海景房，我們一家仔細再三確認才刷卡付款。當天下午3點辦刷卡訂房，到達時快五點，老闆查不到我的訂房資料，並且他們也沒豪華海景房這房型名稱，直到快6點老闆才收到訂房網給的資料，是…標準雙人房。大家的臉都黑了。 好在不是假日，還有空房，好協調。 給老闆好評是無庸置疑，但去哪裡給訂房網爛評啊？
