Construction noise PERMEATED my 1st floor unit. Intermittent but regular hammering and drilling. I got three quiet days due to the public holiday and then every morning from 8:30 including Saturday it started. Add that to the noise of a child running in the overhead unit and this place wasn’t peaceful. The other issue is that when I checked in, they overcharged me because I paid in LOCAL HUNGARIAN CURRENCY. They advertised their price in euro on hotels.com and then used some obscure conversion rate into HUF rather than the interbank rate. Then they tried to say they use the buy rate so I looked that up and it wasn’t the published buy rate so they showed me some other rate on the banks website as if that made it OK. But they weren’t changing currency. I was paying in HUF. All they needed to do was convert it but they wanted to make another 16€ off me. Hotels,com even called them to say it’s not acceptable but they weren’t budging so now hotels.com is looking into it further and they were nice enough to make it up to me. The unit is fine BTW. Nothing earth shattering and for the price they could clean it or take the trash out every few days. But it’s new and it’s clean and in a good location and there’s on site reception. I just had a lousy experience and think they’re unethical. But if the construction finishes and you pay ahead it’s fine.

THe internet didn't work, which is a huge deal when you don't have phone data and need the internet. Also the apartments are very pretty on the outside but not functional. For example, the shower was leaking water, the sink was underneath the cabinets, the door locks were very hard to manage. Kind of like a hot girl without much substance... location was good, space was very clean, but i would not stay there again.

One of the most well-put together and sensibly formed apartment complex in Hungary/Europe. The girls are great at the reception with a good English knowledge. As a note, we had to request new towels etcetera (and still the cleaner was not informed about the bath rug so had to run back for it downstairs) even though we had a new booking when it should be natural that the cleaner would bring us new items automatically by check-in time the latest (as it is a basic procedure in all of the serviced apartments not only in Hungary but on a Europe-wide level), this did not happen that was quite unappreciated as well as we had to wait for a new set of bed linen until next morning!? Also paper towel for the kitchen is far more hygienic (even if it costs more to put a new one for each guest) that we only saw in the neighbouring countries as well as in the British Isles!
