MOXY Seattle Downtown

A relaxing environment with “too relaxing” customer service. Charged my credit card even everything had been paid in advance via hotels.com. Called the customer service for refund and was promised to do so without actual action. Had to call again to solve the issue.

The room was really loud from street noise, the lighting was stylized but not effective, the food options were limited and not tasty, there is no task chair for working (no back support), and the lights from the street were so bright that I had to keep the heavy curtains closed all the time which added to the claustrophobia of the small room. Oh yeah, there is no parking at the hotel so you are left with street parking or using an Amazon structure for the night. Other than that, it was fine.

So fun! We stayed here for an anniversary staycation. The vibe was playful, but not too posh. Great decor. Delightful “bedtime story” on the phone. Free drink token was a nice perk. The free skittles and goldfish were a nice surprise. Only thing that was off was the shower door kept sliding open while showering, but that was an easy fix. Overall, super fun place.

Room was kitschy hip but small overall. Bed a bit too firm for my taste and wasn’t a fan of a sliding bathroom door. Otherwise, everything was great. Location was perfect, price was right, staff was super friendly and accommodating and a bar/lounge in the lobby was convenient as well.

Great stay! Rooms are small but very nice and clean!
