Pelican Spa

Overall it was a nice stay. I was concerned about the lack of Covid safe cleaning practices.

Kitchen awesome, rustic hippy vibe, awesome avocado paint color. Oh and they have a hot spring?! Who’da thunk?! Would do again.

Beware! Very poor service. It took three trips for the right key and room. Filthy filthy filthy. Did I say filthy? Dust mites! I am allergic to mites. At one time I thought it might be better to sleep on the picnic table in the locked courtyard until I saw the bats outside my room. I booked through Hotels.com and didn’t see where to add my pet. I told the Check-in clerk and she correctly charged the pet fee then added a credit card processing charge. What? Tacked on additional fees I could have paid cash if I was told. My $105 room ended up $150. Need I say I did not take a chance with the spa?

Incredible rooms - We stayed in the blue room and each piece in the room has been chosen with love and care (so many cool antique pieces). Even though there was no shower in the room, there was no issue. The spring baths were incredible and we showered after our bath. Incredibly comfortable and the memory foam beds are worth mentioning. We had a great night of sleep. We can't wait to stay again and check out each room every time we stay!

It was a nice place, but there was a little bit an ant problem. Stayed in the loft and it was very big. Kids loved it!

Room has not updated at all. Air conditioning unit only help back room and leaked. Their seemed to be a lot of long term rentals to ppl with drug addiction, felt unsafe. No one were made to wear mask. Allowed for smoking in rooms. Very run down. However, the Gentlemen front desk at check is was incredibly kind and warm.

Unprofessional staff, the clerk was not able to access the computer system, the room was not ready after posted check in time, I asked to cancel & she threatened to call the police on me.

My reservation was canceled last minute, the manager just called me at the check in time to tell me the air wasn't working and she had no other room to rent me.

The Pelican Spa is unique and the mineral baths are amazing. I like the room decorations, the are different in each room which adds so much character to the place. The price is decent for wjqt you get. I loved the access to the mineral baths. There is nothing i did not like.

I had booked for three days and then I submitted another reservation for another two days and when I got back from where I was supposed to be they were inside my room things went missing and they were like oh no I didn't reserve it for another couple of days and then she looked and she realized that I did but by this time all the food that was in the refrigerator all my stuff had been gone and then she blatantly lied and said that no there is nothing but water in my room when I know I had food in the refrigerator I know I had my medicine there and I know I had one of the set the keys in the room and a lot of bugs my other stuff
