Garden Houses Apartment

It's a really clean, well-decorated flat, set off from the main tourist routes, but actually extremely convenient for transport links.There are garden spaces front and back so it's a lovely place to bring kids and it's got a serenity and calm quite unlike most of Venice's teeming, bustling streets. Excellent air-conditioning (vital when we went) and it's equipped with washing machine and cooking facilities. We were in contact with the owner by email and text message and everything was very smooth. At the back of the garden there's a ramp down to a canal and a boat tied up; we didn't take the owner up on his offer, but he can also take you on a tour of Venice by boat! We will definitely return.

We had a great stay here. The apartments are conveniently located in Venice so that you're close to all of the things to see (Venice isn't that huge for walking), close to a couple of grocery stores, close to restaurants but still down a residential street where it is nice and quiet at night. There's a great back porch for having a drink or snack as well.

Feeling like we are living in Venice. Cozy, quiet upstairs unit; close, but not too close, to everything. A personal boat tour that is not to be missed. Claudio collected us at the People Mover and is a font of local history and information, Washing machine is a godsend. We will go back again. NB: Stairs are steep and narrow for North Americans

The apartment has a very nice bedroom with a comfortable king bed, and a bath that has modern fixtures. The kitchen area is furnished with a tiny sink and cooktop, a counter height refrigerator and a few cupboards. There is a small table with 2 small dining chairs. No comfortable chairs in the entire unit. While we were there, we had no internet. It was not working and Claudio was trying to get it fixed, but it did not work at all for us. The television was useless for us - all stations in Italian.

Nice apartment very close to Piazzale Roma. Great location. Reasonably clean. Claudio treated our requests in a pleasant manner and assisted us in getting to our destination. He was very helpful. An overall nice stay

Pour ce séjour de 5 nuits à Venise, nous voulions découvrir un autre quartier. Garden Houses est idéal pour bénéficier de tous les transports à moins de 5 mn à pied; gare ferroviaire, tramway, gare routière avec bus direct pour aéroport, vaporetto, bateaux taxi... Le quartier est vivant, commerçant et étudiant. Garden House est situé dans un jardin avec d'un côté un petit canal très calme et de l'autre une rue tout aussi calme bordée d'arbres. L'appartement est traversant, en excellent état et bénéficie de tout le confort moderne. L'accueil par le propriétaire est personnalisé. Claudio est bienveillant et disponible. Il a plaisir à partager ses connaissances sur l'histoire de Venise. Pour notre prochain séjour nous réserverons à nouveau à Garden Houses Apartment.

Muy bonito el apartamento. Muy facil el acceso desde la estacion de tren. El unico fallo, que la ubicacion de la web no es precisa y dificulta encontrarlo bien

Garden Houses ist eine Oase mitten in Venedig. Man kann alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten und schöne Restaurants fußläufig erreichen, und trotzdem ist es herrlich ruhig. Unser Apartment war traumhaft schön mit einer wundervollen Terrasse, Lavendel, Rosmarin liebevoll angepflanzt und ein eigener kleiner Kanal vor der Tür. Dort lag auch Claudio's Boot, und auf meine Bitte hat er mit uns eine ganz private Bootstour durch Venedig gemacht. Das werde ich nie vergessen, zumal es mein Geburtstag war. Vielen Dank Claudio, you are such a kindly host!!!!

Idéalement situé dans un quartier calme de Venise (et en proximité de la gare routière) cet établissement est un havre de paix qui permet de rayonner sereinement pour profiter de Venise.
