Hotel La Posada and Jungle

Amazing location. Nothing luxurious but it served its purpose. Alan checked us in on arrival. He was super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. There are nicer hotels in town but this one is literally right next to Manuel Antonio National Park and five minutes walking from Espadilla Beach (a public beach outside the park). Breakfast was decent and there’s plenty of restaurant along the road leading to the property. Staff was always helpful with requests. Pool is nice and have a little rounded Jacuzzi-sized area great for kids. They all seemed to have a classic latinamerican laid back attitude towards everything (leave your work-related stress at home people please). A little advise: If you are driving and arrive around 4pm (like we did) park right at the entrance facing towards the town (aka do a 180); that’s the park’s closing time and a massive amount of tourists take over the street and make it difficult to maneuver; After checking in they’ll ask you to use the parking lot across the street. Also, if you’re going to the park, you buy the tickets at the bank in front of the hotel not at the park’s gate. It opens at 7am and lines can get crazy, so I went to get in line at 6:30am while my wife got the kids ready for breakfast. You can buy tickets for multiple days. There’s a mini market right next door also. We didn't have any monkey interactions within the property though. Because of its value and location I recommend this place 100%

The hotel itself is cute and in a great location, steps from Manuel Antonio National Park. The pool was great and in a beautiful jungle setting. The thing is when we showed up, the air conditioner was broken in our room, so they sent us to a trashy AirBnB two doors down. The place was not in good condition, and they didn't do much to make our stay more pleasant (i.e. free drinks or something). I think otherwise it would've been a great time. Too bad for us!

Good location at park entrance, free parking, with several restaurants near by. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. Decent breakfast which comes with the room. The wifi is a little spotty if your room is farther from the hotel office. Overall a good stay.

From the moment we arrived, everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Aaron, Ronnie, Carlos and others whose names I don’t know were willimoyo go an extra step to make sure our stay went smoothly. It was hot and humid and the swimming pool was refreshing and the air conditioning worked well.

Literally right next to Manuel Antonio national park. We saw tons of monkeys and aloths up close. The beach was great too. Lots to do inthe area. The staff was great and the hotel was great.

Thank you so much Damian and the team at Hotel La Posada Hotel for a wonderful stay in the rainforest with the animals! Beautiful new room, great pool, best/quietest a/c and lovely staff. Just perfect for our 3 day stay. One of the best parts of staying so close to the park is the animals - saw monkeys, tucans, iguanas and hummingbirds round the pool - so cool! The second best thing about La Posada is the pool - when super hot coming home from Manuel Antonio National Park it’s two minutes from the gate of the park to the cool of the pool - perfecto :).

Very nice property with best possible location. All staff was kind and helpful. Rooms are not big or fancy but perfectly clean, with working fan and AC.
