Sinhagiri Villa

We stopped here on an overnight stop off to climb Pidurangala Rock. We checking nice a quick and were shown to our room. Nice and close to both rocks, even when my partner fell and hurt her ankle the lady who worked there tended to it for her which was lovely!! Thank you!!

Die herzlichen Gastgeber machen diese Unterkunft unvergesslich. Das Essen ist aussergewöhnlich lecker und die Lage des Hotels ist ideal. Der Lionsrock ist nur wenige Minuten vom Hotel entfernt. Die Gastgeber helfen gerne beim Organisieren von Ausflügen und passen sich individuell den Gästen an. Die Safari in den Kaudulla Nationalpark war ein Ratschlag des Gastgebers und im Nachhinein eines der Highlights auf unserer Reise in Sri Lanka.

Only a one day stay. But the owners made me feel very welcomed. The rooms were very clean and I really liked the breakfast made to my liking. Thank you! Will stay again in the future.

we were made so welcome, this is such a friendly place - a real home from home. Lots of amazing places easily within reach, our time here was too short!

The location is great to the two rocks and the roof top is nice too looking towards Sigiriya. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The family/staff are always around to help out as required and they are easy going and friendly. We visited the rock, ancient cities and Dambulla from this great base. The room was great value, we enjoyed our stay! Definately recommend a stay here.

Otel staff everytime make noisy party themselves ..no soap at room ..

Fantastic hotel within short walking distance of Lions Rock. Room was attractive, clean, and comfortable. Staff was attentive and kind. The food was amazing and affordable. If you stay here, it would not make sense to eat elsewhere. Overall, it was a great stay. I used this hotel as a base to see sites in sigiriya, dambulla, and polonnaruwa. It worked out really well to be close to everything but to have a nice peaceful place to come back to.

The home maker owner lady was very friendly and gave super introduction to the place. Excellent atmosphere. Wonderful collections on garden. The restaurant nearby the property was well managed and fully vegetarian food offered by them was very tasty and super. Do not miss the stay here.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking to visit Sigiriya and nearby Pidurangala. It's literally walking distance from the entrance to the rock! The hotel itself isn't particularly fancy, but the room was clean, airconditiioned and with hot water so it had what I needed. But the restaurant provided a bit extra, with very decent food at reasonable value. I would definitely recommend staying here if you intend to visit the Rock, but it is little out of the way to visit anywhere else without a tuk tuk.
