Vineyard Villa

We are in Akrotiri area, not close to Oia and Fira but on the other Caldera side that is beautiful and close to nice beaches. The house is big, well decorated, accurately cleaned and with any comfort. The owner is nice, friendly and available to share any information you may need about the island. We suggest it for couples and families.

Villa is in great for a family stay in Santorini. It is a little away from the tourist spots but within easy reach either by bus or car/quad rental. The hosts are extremely helpful and very attentive to all your needs. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend to family and friends.

The Villa was beautiful but in a very remote location. You will need to rent a car to see the island. We did not know that the owners live on the same property. They were very pleasant and helpful but did not know they would be there 24/7. There was a spa tub on the deck but we did not know it was cold water and to heat it would be an additional $10.00 per person per day.

Matthew and his family were wonderful. I couldn’t ask for better service. Breakfast food there every morning and wonderful food recommendations for lunch and dinner. So amazing!!! We would stay there again next visit to Santorini

Our family had a wonderful 4 nights staying at Vineyard Villa in Santorini. The villa is a large 3 bedroom villa located in the middle of a vineyard on the outskirts of Akrotiri village. The villa has a great outdoor dining spot and tub with sunbathing area. It is in a quieter corner of the island away from the extremely touristy area. But still close enough to walk to some interesting sites such as the Akrotiri Ruins and Red Beach. There were a handful of restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone with a family that wants a quiet, relaxing Greek island vacation with nearby access to more lively activities if you rent a car. Thank you to the host Matthew and his family for their wonderful hospitality!

Matthew is very welcoming and helpful. He sorted out a rental car for us. He also booked for us the catamaran cruise with the Dream Catcher which was quite a lifetime experience, most enjoyable. We, a family of six, stayed at Matthew's home for 4 nights, each bedroom is so spacious and clean. A cot and high chair were provided for our toddler. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evenings. Great food at the restaurant Matthew recommended, the prawns were so fresh. Matthew's mum is lovely and so friendly, she gave us two watermelons from the farm which was refreshing and very kind of her. I have already recommended the villa to friends and would stay again when we go to Santorini.

The Villa is perfect. It's spacious and fully equipped (three rooms, two full bathrooms, dinning and resting area and even a Jacuzzi :) ). It has an ATM, a grocery shop and a bus stop located no further than 100 yards. We've spent 6 days and enjoyed every moment. It's highly recommendable for families, as you have the luxury and service of a hotel with the privacy and convenience of a home. The owners are very friendly and servicing, making sure that you have the best of time. They provided us with recommendations from "which beaches to visit that are good for kids", "which restaurants to go" (where, by the way, we had the best Mediterranean food in our lives) to "what are the best activities and spots to visit" (The Dream Catcher boat trip was one recommendation that we really enjoyed). We were treated like family and we're really looking forward to coming back!

Uitstekend plek! heel veel schoon en de gastvrouw is heel aardig en vriendelijk. Bovendien de omgeving is goed bereikbaar. ( openbaar vervoer, supermarkt dichtbij en de stranden ook). We waren en groep van zeven en we zijn heel tevreden om die plek te vinden.
