Desert Riviera Hotel

Upon checking in at he Desert Riviera, we were greeted by Ashley who was very friendly and courteous. Our room was immaculate and the decor was fun and bright! The hotel's grounds were absolutely stunning and beautiful. Sitting by the pool into the evening was relaxing thanks to the chill atmosphere of the place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs and I myself will definitely be coming back.!

We had a great time. The staff was amazing and very friendly. From being offered a beer at check-in to the housekeepers bringing me ice to fill my cooler when we were leaving they were all amazing. The rooms are great and the amenities around the pool made the trip for us. We are already planning our next trip back.

Staff is amazing. I’m use to staying at big hotel chains but after staying here, this will be my Palm Springs to go to. Beautiful, cozy, laidback with everything you need. Everything is cleaned and sanitized because this is what we need to worry about nowadays. You will love this place!

What a great hidden gem. We really enjoyed our stay and what made it especially nice were the extra touches that the staff made available to us. Drinks were offered on arrival, there were free snacks in our room, and the staff would check to make sure everything was good.

This is a very cute property. The staff really make the difference. It is a very family feel. Where else is there a community fridge and kitchen. I can see why so many of their guests come back every year. We will also be back.

This is a great location to stay for the Palm Springs Film Festival. It is a short drive to the film venues and to downtown restaurants. It is a 50s retro hotel with a quiet pool and garden area, free use of bikes, laundry, outdoor barbecue and pizza oven indoor and outdoor cook areas, as well as your own kitchen area inside your room. The staff provide you with lots of extras to makemyour stay great.

From the excellent welcome to the charming and spacious period bedroom suites, this is a unique Palm Springs experience. The pool was great and the colour schemes perfect. Hummingbirds zipping around watchfully and mountain views complemented the stylish property. Free snacks, bikes, water made it feel luxurious. We also had a great pack of champagne, roses and a wonderful chocolate cake provided to celebrate our anniversary. We will try to return

We loved that everyone was so helpful, friendly, that the hotel offers continental, beverages, water, towels, pool floats, suntan lotion and much more at no charge, There is a complete communal kitchen you are free to use what you need. People are respectful and do not abuse the faculties. Steve, Misty and all of the other staff are exceptionally helpful. My husband forgot his swim shorts at the resort and Misty went out of her way to go to Fedex to send them to us. We really appreciate everything this place has to offer. Will definitely return.

This is a super fun place. Firstly, it's very faithful to what I think it would have looked like when it was opened in the '50s (even though it has been updated) giving it a very authentic vibe. The tiles in the bathrooms are original and yet somehow look very new. The rooms have a little tucked away kitchenette, which feels very 50's-ish also. Very cute layouts. The property is a large C-shape, curled around a very nice pool area with bbq facilities and some really nice amenities. Very clean. The property has many bikes for use, we took two of these into town and had a lot of fun. They have sunscreen and all sorts of pool floats etc available. Lots of DVDs available, if you want to watch a movie in your room. In all, we had a great weekend, made better by the extreme courteousness of the staff, who bent over backwards to help.
