The condo has stairs to get to it & stairs within it to get to the bedrooms. This wasn't mentioned anywhere. My collegague & I have bad knees, so the stairs were alot, and there is no elevator. Also, Orbitz & Red Awning advertise the Condo as 2bed/2bath, BUT it only has 1.5 bath. So we had to share a bathroom, who wants to do that with a colleague - Not us! We would NEVER have rented this apt if the advertising has been truthful - stairs to & within the unit, & 1.5 bathrooms. And finally, the digital locking mechanism on the door did not work. It gave the appearance of working by making the proper sounds, but didn't actually lock the unit, which meant that anyone could've entered the unit at any time - SCARY! Fortunately, we noticed this just before leaving for the opening reception for our conference. We called the after hours number & a very pleasant and concerned person answered the phone who immediately connected us with Mainteance. (Here's where it gets even more interesting.) Maintenance revealed that he knew of the lock problem because the previous renter told them. Yet they failed to fix the lock prior to us renting the apt. I was appalled that they put our safety in jeopardy. I asked when he was coming to fix it, he said he couldn't come until the next day when we would be at the conference. I expressed my concern about right now & sleeping in the apt, he told me how to access the lock box with physical keys - these worked for the stay. They never fixed the lock.
