Pirate's Cove Resort

Highly recommend this property. Clean, quiet and reasonable.

It is close to Indiana Beach and is on lake Schafer. It is very run down but in it's defense, everything in this town is. The front desk worker was very nice and helped us carry our stuff to our room.

I was suppose to be checking into a family suite with kitchenette ,instead I get a fridge and a hot plate and cabinets.I was told poolside instead just the opposite side I can't get up and down stairs and there were many. The one bed was like sleeping on a box spring.The coffee pot has to make without the lid because it is not the correct pot so it takes forever.I was told heated pool...by no means was it heated and spider webs everywhere.Then when we wanted to walk down by the water we could not because they blocked the walk because a woman complained about her dog not being safe on their little porch from other dogs..Definitely needs an update.

The gentleman running this place were fantabuloso they went above and beyond to be sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed

Need better pillows! And use a weed wacker! Need to fix the dock, would of loved to fish while we were there. But otherwise it was good, I'd come back

There was a leak in the kitchen ceiling, the back patio was dirty as well as the barbecue grill, the futon was so thin you could feel the bars, parking area was very small, the water from the shower was terrible. There was an agreement to refund $50 for the inconvience of the leak in the kitchen, which i never received.

Was a perfect spot to be with family. Staff was very accomidating. We will be back

Disappointed l expected some of the areas but was smaller than what the pictures showed. There was many steps I was not aware of and being partially handicapped made it difficult. I would not stay there again. There was no one on site to check us out on Sunday.
