Hotel Monte Cenci

the Hotel was really nice, the location is fantastic and hotel manager provided us with details of the key sites and the best route to get to see them all, which was fantastic given it was a short stop over, as part of a road trip driving south. However we selected this hotel because of the 'free parking' only to be told at check in, that parking was limited and there was none available, however this was not outlined when we booked and was not, as far as I can find, outlined in the booking. So as a consequence parking cost us an addition 80 Euros. this was not the fault of the Hotel or the staff, who were really pleasant throughout our stay, it is somewhere I would stay again.

We recently stayed at the hotel during a city break and we absolutely loved our experience. The staff were extremely helpful (from the front desk to the kitchen team). The hotel is in the perfect location to visit the main sites but also in a quiet area of the city. We would highly recommend staying here!

Did not stay at hotel but was charged full reservation cost. This is a hotel that has no concern or regard for the suffering being felt around the world with Covid-19. I booked the hotel in January 2020 as a non-refundable reservation, and the best offer I got as a refund from the hotel was a credit voucher that expires in a years time. Zero customer service!

We booked a “Deluxe” room that appeared to be quite nice with a large glass window between the shower and bedroom in the pictures. The deluxe room we booked was also supposed to have a king sized bed. However, when we arrived we were shown to a room that looked much different than the pictures and did not have a king sized bed. The hotel staff tried to explain that all deluxe rooms are different but had nothing to say about the fact that the bed size was incorrect. In addition, the room was very dirty and in need of a new paint job.

Cannot speak highly enough about our experience at Monte Cenci. The staff was beyond incredible, giving us a generous map of the city and labeling our easiest routes to each location. From the manager to the bellhop, everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. The room and amenities were beautiful and updated, and the bar on the roof was wonderful as well, with an incredibly sweet bartender. All in all, would HIGHLY recommend!!!! Thank you Monte Cenci for welcoming us to Rome.

Lovely staff, great breakfast and perfect location in the Ghetto. We were able to walk to everything, from the Forum to the Pantheon to Vatican City.

Visit to Rome for my wifes 40th. Long time dream of hers so wanted it to be special. From a month before arriving the hotel was emailing asking what my requirements were and what the could do to make it special. I chose the romantic turndown and it was amazing. The emails wete personal and friendly and caring. When we arrived it was like I already knew them. They did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The staff were brilliant. If I asked for somethong they got it. Always smiling. Offering advice and recommendations. Its the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in for service. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Right in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere. Top marks.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and we love it. Location is great, staff is very friendly and nice. Room was very comfortable, spacious and clean and service is excellent.
