Hotel Xestal

First I asked to be in a room on a lower level as stairs are difficult I was told no because I booked with hotels.com. so after coming in the first day my room has no power so downstairs again. Then no wifi which was the case for the 3 nights. No bottled water or glasses. Loud voices carried throughout. Finally booked a tour was told English was spoken but 80% was Spanish and felt cheated out of information. Close to a beach further to find good coffee.

El hotel es sencillo, para el precio ofrece buen servicio y las instalaciones estan en buenas condiciones, las televisiones un poco viejas pero bueno casi no veo tv, creo que deberian agregar los refrigeradores esos pequeñitos que la mayoria de los hoteles tienen, la alberca estaba limpia. Se encuentra en una muy buena ubicacion cerca de la playa y el centro, los empleados son muy atentos, lo unico que no me gusto es que no cuentan con elevador y si te toca en el ultimo piso espero que tengas buena condicion fisico porque con las maletas se hace pesado el trayecto.

Great reception and checkin, excellent room size, nice pool BUT on last night young men screaming and shouting in pool until late at night, then a husband wife row set up with her shouting and kids running around the corridors until at least 2 in the morning. Where were the staff? That ruined our stay there, hence the low rating. Shame, because the staff we met were charming but people shouldn't be allowed to wreck the stay of the majority like that.

Nice and clean hotel. We had issue with the air conditioning but it has been fixed quickly. The location is perfect! 15min walk to la Crucecita Centro or Santa Cruz.

The staff are very pleasant and were able to give us advice about Huatulco and the surrounding area. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We loved the convenience of the location and used their pools daily to cool down. Two beaches were within walking distance or a short taxi ride as well as the old town square and church. The grocery store across the street was a complex of 3 restaurants, a laundry mat, and other services. Frida's Street Food, a favourite with ex-pats was just across the street as well, and the Oxxo was next door. Taxi cabs were plentiful and easy to hale.
