Beau Rivage Motel

It’s a little run down but we had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. Perhaps a better price would have made the stay a lot better. A little over priced. But it’s the location that is driving up the price.

Couples getaway

It was the perfect location!! The room was very clean and spacious. I wished there was a coffee maker and hairdryer in the room. The beds were somewhat hard and uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and the pool is beautiful. There is also beach access right across the road.

We had a room overlooking the parking lot. We did not know the train ran behind our building. The train was very loud all hours of the night. There’s another building across the street, closer to the beach, farther from the train but really no ocean view. The office staff was friendly and accommodating, gave us a coffee maker which was not standard for our room. The water was hot and shower pressure very good. The bed was average comfortable, there were enough pillows. The unit was very basic, the walls are very thin and our neighbors had no where to sit except right in front of our window and they partied well into early morning hours. We did not make it to the pool or hot tub. Ice avail in a large ice chest with a scoop, located on the ground level, not an ice machine where you push the button and get a fresh container of ice, so you have to trust that other guests don’t stick their hands in the ice chest and actually use the scoop on the wall

Never again

After being told we could check in anytime after 12, I drove 2 hours to be told once we got there the room wasn’t ready and they were short staffed. They then advised us that they would call us when the room was ready. So I sat in my car for two and a half hours until they called to say the room was finally ready. The room was decent, nice view from the top floor. However as we were packing up and leaving and making trips to the car on the opposite side of the parking lot, the people staying in the room next to us went into our room and stole from us. I was pretty disappointed that not only did I waste my time sitting in a car for two hours even after being told we could check in early, but our belongings were stolen from our room and the office didn’t have any resolution other than a $50 credit on my account. As nice as that is I will not be returning.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, the staff was great. The beach was very close! We could see it from our room. It was a pleasant and peaceful getaway (just want we needed!)

I would have appreciated if I was informed that there were no working TVs, no WiFi, the pool, sauna and hot tub were all not running before I booked.....

Nice location, it was clean, nice pool, nice roof top deck. The property is a little out dated but functional.
