Crest Motel

We had a great visit. Room was simple and clean, staff was nice and right on the beach. Can’t ask for much more.

The Crest Motel is great , there pool is always clean , the staff is awesome and the rooms are comfy and clean as well .

Perfect no frills hotel, clean, 30 seconds from the beach.

It was great! Loved the beach right out of our door. The owner was fantastic and popcorn was great! We would definitely stay here again!

The management & staff was very pleasant and friendly. The motel is steps from the beach and a short walk into downtown Old Orchard Beach. As I was checking out, current guests were already making their reservations for the same time next year. There is a pool, hot tub and play area for the kids. The rooms are clean; the mattresses could use some upgrading though. Overall, I was pleased with our choice to stay at the Crest Motel for a weekend.

The proximity to the beach is the best thing I liked about this place.

Great place for a family vacation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was old but clean. They could up grade their soaps and toilet paper. I met families that have been going there for years. I would definitely go back.

After booking I received a call from the hotel stating we needed to switch rooms after the 1st night, our room was booked to someone else for the weekend, I asked about a discount for the inconvenience and was told "You don't have to stay here, someone else will rent the room, I have to pay the bills" We go to our first room and move the comforter to find popcorn between the comforter and the blanket, so we strip the bed and only use the hopefully clean sheets with new blankets we purchased from a shop near the pier. We were told we had to be out of the room by 10am so it could be cleaned for the next guests. Pack our stuff into our car because our next room was being cleaned and would not be ready until after 11am. Next room, does not have carpet and the floor was sandy, like it should have been more than swept or cleaned with a dirty mop. We strip the blanket and comforters off the beds knowing from the previous room that they are obviously not changed between quests. Fast forward to 10pm, pool is closed, but that didn't stop people from loudly playing cards & drinking right outside our door. Next morning we see the cleaning crew and ask them to not make our beds as they have our blankets on them... we don't want the comforters. came back to beds being made with the dirty blankets from the floor! Our beds were now covered in sand, along with our brand new blankets. Next day again asked them not to touch the beds, again they put dirty blankets from the floor on the beds.

Front desk was very helpful and friendly! Extremely clean bed linens, felt and smelled like they were just taken out of the dryer! Great location, and cleanest beach hotle we have EVER stayed at!

The location of the motel was awesome! Close and walking distance to a lot of places and the fact that it was right on the beach was a def plus! The down side of this was the beds were very uncomfortable, lighting was bad.
