88 Courtyard Hotel

This hotel was great, there are fancier places for more money but this had everything we wanted. The employees are the best. Excellent service. My family will for sure stay at this hotel next time we are in Manila. The pool and pool area was nice for relaxing. We had room service and it was great also. I look forward to when we can stay again. We checked out Sunday March 15 2020 so not the best time for staying in the Philippines. We used the hotel car service to go to the airport and like everything else it was very good.

It was just a over night and was comfortable , good breakfast and close to the airport

hotel.com pics are different from what i got! i had to upgrade ,washroom does not have blower . wager leaking in the washroom ,but service overall was amazing!

Staff is great, but... Internet, although promised, does not work at all. Not very clean. We had used toothpicks in our room.

Short but very Good. Only negative was some noise during late evening and night. Nice comfort and Good service. Transfer to airport was especially appreciated.

1. No Internet services Very bad for Business Travelers. 2. Food cooked outside of Hotel delivered 40 to one hour later don’t know where food was prepared very cold this was confirmed by staff, health issues with Kitchen. No idea if the site is inspected by Health Dept. I sent my food back asked to speak to Restaurant manger, this is when I was told that their Kitchen had been closed.

Particularly good value for the budget-conscious. Wouldve liked more drink options, but that was fine.

The beds were comfortable and nice pillows. There is more space here than some competitors like the Red Planet. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. The main problem here is the noise. I am a heavy sleeper but it was beginning to be comical. I stayed in room 301 which faces the pool - there is a loud generator near the pool that is on all the time. Traffic noise is constant and loud nearly all the time - horns, sirens and seemingly every 10 minutes a plane would fly over and rumble the room. The walls are paper thin with an adjoining door to 302. Kids screaming or talking is so audible you can hear every word they are saying. I had to buy earplugs and eve then you could hear all of these things. It's not the hotel's fault - it is where it is but staying more than a night or two would be tough. There are no soda machines or a few items for sale like mouthwash or potato chips. The Red Planet sells all of this at the front desk. This forces you to walk down Roxas Blvd, a pitiful street filled with beggars, to a 7/11 or Mini-Stop to get anything. Lastly, towels, while clean, need to be replaced as they are showing too much wear and tear - as well as some of the bed sheets that were ripped. Unfortunately, it is not a hotel I would stay at again. Even though the likes of the Red Planet has small rooms with single beds - they are quiet and clean. Or spend a bit more and go for the City Garden Grand which is altogether in a higher class.
