Very clean place. Easy check in. We forgot to empty 2 drawers of clothes and a laptop and they are mailing me my things. Definitely will go again.
The pictures you see are outdated. The beds are uncomfortable, there was a skylight in the bedroom of our suite, the knobs in the shower just keep turning and turning and the water smelled of methane. The Tv was haphazardly mounted on the walls three feet above normal viewing and directly above an actual TV stand. Who allowed this to happen?? I can't begin to tell you how thin the walls were and the noise started at 6 in the morning. The only updated portion of the entire suite was the heating and cooling.
Booked this place last minute because it was pet friendly! Service was good! I basically just used the hotel to sleep at night! I had seen the prior reviews and was prepared! Staff was friendly and attentive! Loved that It was so close to the beach!
The room was filthy, the floors were so dirty that my feet were black after 2 minutes of walking on them, i was afraid to take my shoes off after that, they were sticky. the bed had sand on top and in it. The shower was not clean. it was hands down the dirtiest place i have ever stayed. i would not recommend this place to anyone. there was blood on the lamp shade. i could go on and on.
Was pretty pleased with my short stay here, it was a little getaway before my husband and I welcome our baby girl. Really loved that it had easy parking, nice common area with fire pits. Got a nice room with a balcony over looking the pool, small kitchen area which came in handy. For the most part this place is up to date, compared to other places I’ve stayed, and clean. My only complaint is that the beds were awful, you just sunk right in to it, no support at all. Being pregnant this made it very hard for me to be comfortable and get up out of bed.
The staff we dealt with were great and it really is a short walk to the beach. Beyond that, it was awful. There was nothing they could do to make it better. We entered a room with dirty sheets, dirty floor, dirty bathtub, dirty stove and garbage behind the bed stand. The dishes in the cupboards were not clean and there were not pots/pans as I was told when I called ahead. There were holes in the walls throughout the room. The carpet on the patio was wet and filthy. The pool was cracked and not cleaned or maintained throughout the day.
The Hotel did a great job dealing with COVID situation and providing a clean safe environment. Graham was great!
Pros: the room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was great and the pillows were wonderful! Also enjoyed the live music. Cons: the bathroom was dated and the on site restaurant wasn’t prepared to handle the number of diners.
Booked this hotel, 2 rooms for a 3 day stay with my kids. Check in was the only pleasant thing about this place. Returned to hotel around 5:30-6:00 pm after dinner and found no one at front desk, lobby was locked up, and pool closed already. (It was still quite sunny and very warm out). Went up to our rooms and my wife decided to take a shower. She had to ckean out hair from the shower. I used the bathroom to just pee, and the toilet clogged. The TV in our room wanst working because it said there was no internet connection to the box. When we pulled back the sheets on our bed, my wife found a bug under the sheets. THAT WAS THE TIPPING POINT. We called to try and get someone on the phone, the room phone wasnt working. So we called every number we found in the room, including yhe number on the back of the door, and could not get a hold of ANYONE!! After calling for close to 45 minutes and no answers to any calls, at 8:30 in the evening, we packed up and found another hotel. When my wife called the hotel the following morning to explain everything, the rude woman who answered, processed to blame us for all the issues we had. Saying that we didnt know how to operated the TV, and that we didnt call to try and get assistance the night before. The woman even asked my wife if the bug in the bed was alive or dead. 🙄 REALLY?!?! So we said we'd be willing to let them keep the one night deposits for each room, almost $400, but wanted the balance of our money back, over $700.
