BreakFree on Cashel, an Accor hotel

Very Central. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and some sites. Very loud at night not sure if is guests staying or coming from outside. Hallways fully lit 24/7 had to stuff a few towels under door to block the light so I could sleep.

Absolutely wonderful staff! I dealt with the man that was usually on in the afternoon/evening and he was always very friendly! The place feels slightly dirtyband may need a bit if a refresh but for what you pay it's a great stay!

Parking was non existent. We didn't stay at Breakfree, but were moved to Ibis due to some others extending their stay. We were told it was an upgrade but to be honest it didn't feel much like one. Breakfree seemed pretty colourful and stylish compared to what we got at the Ibis. Functional and plain. It was fine, but not at all what we were expecting.

Breakfree is very central and perfectly located for walking the city. It has a decent place to eat a quick no fuss dinner or grab a beer. The breakfast buffet is very good for the price. The rooms are very small but you can read the size when you book online. Be aware that the cheapest have no windows. The bathrooms in the expensive rooms are normal hotel standart, but the rest are a very clever frosted glass unit in the corner of the room. It has everything you need - but best if you travel with someone you know really well as there is no sound privacy... and only frosted glass. The bed was terriffic. It is just old enough NOT to have built in USB ports which would have been nice. You get what you pay for in a very clever micro room style. View and window size is relative to the price I seem to have worked out. We had office windows 5 m away from our 4th floor window. Bed is high to accommodate luggage underneath. If you need to get up at night and dont want to crawl over your partner, go for a room where you can get in and out of bed from both sides - not one where the bed has walls on 3 sides.

I had to move to two different rooms. The first room wasnt clean, so i went down to the reception to ask if my room had been clean and it wasnt. So they moved me to another room and gave me a few free drinks. And then about 11:30pm the lights wouldnt turn off so i had to rang up reception. So she came up and said it normal happens and they are having some problems, with the lights. So i had to move to another room. Which i was a bit annoyed about it, but i know they cant do much about that. I think it was just the fact that i already had moved into another room. When i took the key down to the reception in the morning i was expecting something like another voucher or some sort of refund. To say sorry about the second room. Which i got none. I thought maybe they well they might give me a refund on parking or something, when i checked out the next morning but i didnt. But apart from that, i love how it was very close to the city centre.
