Hyatt House Seattle/Downtown

considering the price and its location it was beyond expectations. the breakfast buffet was great. my family had a great time.

Staff was ok, but not more. Room was great, quite clean, very good that we could increase/decrease the heat ourselves. We payed extra for a view of the Space Needle from the 7th floor which was great. There was some traffic noise though... Worst part is that the breakfast restaurant was totally over crowded every morning even though we got up early to avoid the worst chaos. Lots of kids running around screaming, guests eating in the lobby or their rooms because there was no seating. The filling up with new food wasn't really fast enough at times etc.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the room was not ready when we got there but the people at the desk were super nice and helpful. Hotels fairly new it's in good condition it's in an awesome location you can see the Space Needle from the room the breakfast was really good

Checked in at 4pm, and got a corner room. The room is surrounded by windows (manually close) and at second floor. So everyone can see us from street. It feels so weird and uncomfortable. And because the reason to choose this hotel is we want to see the street view during the night. Then I went back to front desk to change other room, the male staff told me is all booked. I looked up online, there were still some rooms available. I explained the reason and he consisted not to change room. Later on, a female staff came and helped me eventually. The male staff was very impatient. After I explained my reason, he started to talk emotional. He gave me a dirty face, racial look and rude tone during entire service. Then I read many reviews and found out if you looks like an Asian, then they may treat you differently. I hope this is not the reason that they give you one of the worst room just because you are not a member or booked from third party. if you think you stay at Hyatt but their service could be worse than some random highway motel. And now I understand why this is a 3star hotel.

Hard to get too but very nice
