Avoid this place if you can.

As I was checking in, two very upset customers were being “helped” by either the owner or manager. He was very contentious and argued with them. Also, the most polarizing “news” channel was playing in the background. So, check-in atmosphere was not great. Unfortunately, it was a preview of my stay. The grounds were unkempt with piles of industrial trash in the back of the property. The room wasn’t as clean as I expect from such a high priced hotel. The furniture was falling apart and the lamps were crooked. The shower stall doors wouldn’t stay closed and I had to hold the door while showering.

Keep looking

Dried up food on floor & in fridge. Cracks in doors from room leading to outside, large enough to let cridders through. Tub wouldn't drain. Water in tub wouldn't stop running. Needs to be updated in simple ways. Run down. What was strange is they have a fancy restaurant, so they put all their money there vs not maintaining the rooms well.

Ok for Overnight

RM Hotel is in great location, but dated and in poor condition and poorly designed. Service is bad and lack in amenities. Would choose other hotel, not good for long stays. Not handicapped friendly.

Affordable, fun game room, fridge/microwave included. One bed's sheets had a stain (hope it was old and washed, just didn't come out) and the other bed had a couple of hairs in it - not sure if it was human or pet hair, but was not something I had hoped to see.

Okay, not great

Hotel was overall dated and in need of refurbishment. Our bathroom was kind of icky, shower was newer but floor and grout. Seems like some limited updates have been made recently but not enough. Beds were very comfortable. Indoor pool with Mountain Views was great! Felt like it wasn’t very nice for the price ($250 a night)

ok for an emergency 1 night stay

technically I could see a mountain top from our window but it mostly just looked over overflowing dumpsters and a parking lot. some parts of the room seemed updated but overall the place needs a facelift. just needed a place to stay that was warm and dry during a surprise blizzard on a camping trip, so it did the trick.

Supervisor's WORD

The view was good, staff friendly " most of them " , they could improve MUCH MORE on cleaning. At check-in I was promised a discount by the front desk supervisor, however during checkout, He denied offering the discount. That made me 😠 😡 😤 not because of the % ,but because ( the Supervisor gave me his word ).IT'S THE PRINCIPLE MY FRIEND.

There was an issue with the door to the stairs for us to get up to our room on the second floor. It was resolved by the manager after 20 minutes. The food was excellent

Chilly Showers! Yikes!

The desk agents were both polite and friendly. The room was clean, but it was old and there were a couple of things that were broken and/or clearly worn and in need of repair or replacement. Our biggest issue was that we did not have warm showers in the morning. I thought the hot water heater was broken, but as the water finally got warm after being on for 30-40 minutes, that must not have been the problem. Unfortunately, as we had an appointment, we did not have time for anybody to come and help us figure out what was wrong with the water and just had to deal with the cold shower (which was certainly miserable). I called from our room to inform the management about the issue and then mentioned it again when I checked out. Other than an apology (which was sincere from the desk agent), there was no compensation offered. Having a husband in the hotel business, this lack of care surprised me and was very disappointing. When booking a hotel, my expectations are a good night's sleep and a hot shower, so to pay full price and not receive the services I paid for is unacceptable to me. That lack of service and care is a definite detriment to our ever returning or passing along positive recommendations. We are thankful for the good night's sleep and I suppose I should also be appreciative of the fact that the cold shower woke me up completely and ensured I was alert for our scheduled event! But that chilly water was also a pretty big deal breaker.
