The Historic UXU Ranch

What a fun hideaway spot- very relaxing, I wish I had more time to just hang but we were there trying to experience Yellowstone. The only draw back was that it was a bit far as a home base when visiting the park. The half day horseback riding was great, Pooch the rancher took us all out on a nice ride covering lots of different terrain. He was helpful with the children who were not used to riding. The dogs they had on the property were very friends and the kids loved hanging with the,. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a three room cabin with a full bathroom. The cabin was very cozy and fit our needs for the two nights we were there. Thank you!

We had a great time at the ranch. Our cabin was clean and well appointed, with extra blankets and space heaters in case it got cold. Jenn was great at check in and showed us around. We brought our 2 dogs and they had fun running around with the dogs on the ranch. We ate at the restaurant one night for supper, food was good and portions were big. We took an hour horse ride with Pooch, who was an excellent guide and stopped us several times to take our photo up on the mountain. My girls LOVED the horses! It was especially nice to have a coffee pot and microwave in the cabin. We would stay here again without a doubt!

Beautiful scenery, staff went out of their way to accomodate us. Meal was really good. Cabin was comfortable except my daughter said her twin bed mattress wasn't the most comfortable. Overall wonderful stay.

A get away night with my husband I loved the cabins and the office /restaurant area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful place!

A must see. This city girl was right at home here, the cabin was spacious and comfortable. The food was top notch. The staff is attentive, informative and kind. You are immediately at home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Ask about the ranch history. They are happy to share stories and pictures. Definitely stay, eat and relax here.

Nice quiet relaxing place, wonderful staff, amazing place to stay at.

The property is beautiful and very exclusive. Its just you, the horses and the nature surrounding you. Its also only 10 miles from Yellowstone's east gate. Ideal location.

Beautiful, hospitable, friendly, , we got there early but they made us feel welcome. The layout invited mingling among the guests that were there. The food was good, and the grounds wonderful. Dog friendly.
