Micro Boutique Living Wolfville

Property was ideally located in downtown Wolfville....close to all amenities. Unfortunately, parking was not convenient. This was compounded by the fact that the major tourist attraction (The Church bar) was directly across the street and their customers utilized most of the available street parking in the area.

Location. We didn't know about that the tides are in your backyard and we had to drive many miles away. The draft from the air conditioning was right on our heads; very unpleasant.

We were placed on the first floor overlooking a laundromat parking lot. People walking by the patio doors gave us no privacy whatsever. Totally different experience than other memebers of my family who had rooms at the back of the building with private balconies overlooking the water.

I liked the two bedrooms although there is no room for two people to use each large bed unless you crawl on top of the other person to get into it. I almost fell trying to go to the washroom getting over my husband in the middle of the night. It would be great for two people staying in separate rooms. However, if the weather is hot, the air conditioning cannot reach the bedrooms unless the doors to the bedrooms are open. If you can stand the traffic noise below, you could open a window but one of us is a light sleeper so it was not working out so well for us.

We ended up with a handicapped room, which is ok, but it is messy. The water trails around the sink and toilet because the curtain doesn’t fall right to the floor. Our main issue here is that the hotel told us to park in the public parking space. We went there and it said : «  No overnight parking ». Why would you send us there? Altogether, the hotel is nice, close to everything and very different because of the « no front desk », but to not have to worry about the keys….precious!

Home away from home

This room was perfect for us. Ability to cook our breakfast, had everything we needed. I would love to see something like this in cities that I travel for work because it would be my home away from home. The picture is really what you get!

The property was ideally located for walking the town and sitting at the Bay. The property was also immacuately clean and, although it was small it was perfect for our needs.
