Square Small Luxury Hotel

Cute boutique hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Received a free upgrade. Overall great place. A couple of critiques: 1) Odd that there is not more free bottled water provided given the water situation in Mexico 2) It primarily faces north so the balcony's and pool are of very limited use in the winter because it's not warm enough without direct sun, though I'm sure it's good in the summer for the same reason. 3) If you primarily plan to hang out in the old city this is some miles away. Didn't bother me and ubers are $5 tops but fyi.

The check in at the beginning was to bad, the people in here are very slow and they gave me a terrible room, the sheets were dirty, the room had no natural light... The valet parking is very slow too.. Very disappointed in this hotel

Was a pretty good hotel. Friendly staff and the La Bocha restaurant attached was really great. The rooms say balcony, but not all have them, even the better rooms may be on corner of building and have no balcony. The rooftop pool area was okay and breakfast was good. The hotel has some wear and tear, but would definitely stay here again for the price and to eat at La Bocha again.

When I got to the hotel I asked for a two bed of which they charged me an upgrade fee for both of my days and when they gave me the room it was just a lrager room with a king so I had to get an extra room, the next day I got a call from front desk asking me to pay an other fer if I wanted to stay in the upgraded room because the guy last night made a misttaoe and thought what I payed was for both night but it seemed ti be only for one so they moved me to smaller room. So I did move to a room that was smaller, had to wake up in the middle of the night be puse the ac wasn’t working and tried to call the lobby but phone wasn’t working either, so had to look up hotel number and call from my phone it took an hour for them to send someone to fox the ac such a disaster and to finish with my experience shower didn’t work went to have breakfast next morning amd my coffee cup had lipstick on it uhh this just goes on

Hotel, staff, amenities were all excellent. The in-room coffee machine was EXTREMELY loud.

Square small luxury hotel is an absolutely fantastic place to stay in Guadalajara. During the pandemic, I was looking to stay at smaller but nice hotels. The quality, attention to service, personalization, and everything overall was top notch. There are several fantastic restaurants within walking distance nearby. Special shout out and thumbs up to Cecil, Manuelo, Daniel, the breakfast staff upstairs (the breakfast is included in very good), and really the entire staff! 5+ stars all around do not hesitate to book here!!

It's a wonderful hotel with great staff in a nice location. The in-room coffee maker was very loud.

My room was very clean and spacious. The area was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked the breakfast. The pool area was very quiet and relaxing. They did a good job keeping everything sanitized and the price was great.

Spacious and clean room. Nice rooftop pool. Cooked to order breakfast - as a substitute to buffet due to COVID.
