Creekside Lodge at Yellowstone

This is a great place to stay....yes, the cabins are a bit rustic, but so nice and clean....a stream behind our room, they served breakfast and dinner...the view from here was fantastic......owner and help went beyond my expectations

This was a great place to stay! The food was fantastic! The food was as good as any 5 star restaurant! The cabin was clean & comfortable! The managers/owners were very accommodating. It is a little ways from Yellowstone but well worth it. It would be great for a fishing or hunting trip. I would love to go back.

Pros: The Creekside cabins are picturesque, very clean and conveniently located outside of Yellowstone and more economical. Cons: Bed was caved in with bed sheets that didn’t really fit that made for a rough night sleep. I booked the cabin for a certain rate but when I arrived and actually took the time to look at the itemized, I had been shared about 35$ more. Part of that was tax but the other was a misc. mandatory fee that was never really explained to me. That difference would have potentially had me booking somewhere else as there were other options in that price range that I specifically avoided. Overall, the owner is friendly and welcoming, the place is clean and well-located so as long as you are aware the rate is a bit higher than advertised and the beds are not the best, then it is a good value.

This is a really cool place on a lot of levels. The only negative thing I have is that there is no internet on the way out there so you don't know when you are getting close especially at night and zeroing in on Wapiti doesn't help much. Maybe a couple of mile markers or landmarks would have been good. The place was nice, clean and I don't know how much they paid the deer to be outside our cabin in the first morning but it was nice. The problem with any of the sites that are out of the park is that the park is so large it takes a lot of time to get back into it. But for the money this is one of the good ones.

We did get to stay there. Hotels.com overbooked us. They didn't have a room for us. Luckily they called us and helped find us a room. They didn't know why Hotels.com booked a room for us.

We came in late and nearest food was another 7 miles away so we ate peanut butter sandwiches! Lol! Should have gotten food on the way! Breakfast was yummy!!
