So if you’re looking for sth cheap and easy and are desperate this place will be fine. Just be prepared for a lack of hygiene, no windows, bedbugs. Wouldn’t really recommend.

The location is the best in Kowloon. In Nathan Rd. the most famous chopping Street with Restaurants for any budget, one block away to the metro and walking distance to the Sea Harbour (a must to see) and to the Ferry Terminal. The building is very old, it have 17 floors and only 4 elevators.The maximin capacity in each elevator is for 4 people. Considering that there is a Hotel or Hostel in every 3 floors, the waiting to get in could be up to 30 minutes. The rooms are extremely small. No room for the baggage so it have to be lay under the bed. But this is Hong Kong and if you only need a place to sleep it is a lot better than sharing a room in an Hostel with another 6 or 8 people. A.C. was Okay, The TV with only two channels in chinese and the staff was wonderful and very helpful.

This isn’t glamour. This is a workable, inexpensive, and located well in a high traffic area of Kowloon. My big grip is the elevator, which the hotel does not control, but is nevertheless a serious inconvenience. Depending on the time of day, you may need to wait 15 minutes or more to take the elevator up or down to or from the place.

Clean room at a cheap price and close to the harbor and MTR. The room was cleaned and towels were changed daily, while sheets were changed halfway through my 5 night stay. My only complaint is that it can take a while to catch the elevator because you can only take the one assigned to your block and floor and there are almost always people already waiting in line. Be aware that there are hawkers standing in front of the building that will try to sell you a room for commission, but they'll leave you alone if you tell them that you already have a room. Some will even point you to the right elevator.

Very basic facilities, a small room with tiny bathroom, clean towels and a TV with four channels, one was in English. It’s in a building with lots of Indian food which was great for us vegans, got a dosa and curry the night we arrived and some samosas for our flight out two days later. Felt very safe, two doors to get into our room.

Very good location, and very easy to go around from the hostel. And it’s quite easy to get to the hostel from airport, as we just need to take the free airport express shuttle bus from Kowloon station to Peninsular Hotel bus stop. This hostel is inside the famous ChungKing Mansion building, and there are a lot of good money exchange stores at the 1st floor of the building. The staffs were really friendly too. They lent us the power plug adapter as we forgot to prepare ours. The condition of the room is just so-so good. But if you just want a place to just rest and sleep, I think this hostel is good enough. However, the environment around the hostel is a bit complicated, so you might want to be a bit cautious about your safety.

I've stayed here about once every 3 months. Pro's - Inexpensive, Great Location, 24 front desk, good A/C, strong wifi signal. Con's - Elevator to 10th floor - slow, crowded with a waiting line, small bathroom with no separate shower area.

Everything was fine except for the annoying elevator situation. Wait time for the single elevator could be up to 15 minutes.

Their service is great and I have to stay at Apple Hostel this time for I have forgot my shopping bag with many things I purchased last trip. I emailed and she has kept all of them for me. As usual, the staff is nice and upgraded my room and also my friend. I will recommend for anyone who want to stay at competitive price, great location to go anywhere with bus, underground or ferry with nice service mind staff.
