Villa Marinella is a beautiful property - so calm, cool and welcoming. Georgianna is the perfect hostess - nothing is too much trouble, everything is spotlessly clean, breakfast is lovely. Nothing bad to say - go and stay there, you won’t regret it

What a beautiful small hotel ! The staff/ owners are so kind helpful and attentive. You feel like a valued house guest and that your enjoyment of the hotel and area is important to them personally. No dark furniture here .. all is clean and bright. Lovely breakfast with freshly cooked eggs , fresh fruit etc. No hesitancy in reccomending it in any way. Thank you for looking after us.

Superb !

After initial mix up with the rooms , staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Big thanks to Andrea and Gina who made us feel at home for the 10 night stay. The Villa was spotless, offered rooftop breakfast with beautiful views and to add icing on the cake, complimentary tickets to the Thermal park just next door! 5 stars for Villa Marinella ***** !!

Wow - fantastic find!

I just couldn't fault this B&B in any shape or form - it was absolutely fabulous, Communication prior to arrival about ferries was spot on and they sent someone to meet us at the port to take us back to the hotel for free. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very spacious , each had theme and a story - ours was Nestore. This was depicted in the lovely scenes and pictures which adorned the walls. The bathroom was modern and we had a lovely large balcony which looked out to sea. Breakfast would usually be served on the rooftop terrace, but we had it windy so it was served inside. There was plenty of choice and they also offered hot omelette. You could walk down to the port in 15-20 minutes which had some wonderful shops and restaurants. We always caught the bus back up the hill for €1.50 each (number 1 or CS) and it stopped just outside the B&B.. But the biggest bonus of the hotel was the free entry to the theme pools beside it. This would normally be €28 per person and we loved relaxing in all the hot pools and saunas - you could even take a dip in the sea. We also borrowed the free bicycles and cycled along the coast to other resorts and beaches. The staff were also a delight and so helpful . Thank you to them all for their hospitality! All I would say is if you have read this review - just book it!

Superb Ischian B & B close to Casamicciola

Friends recommended this B & B and we could see why. Villa Marinella is a small family run B & B with just 6 rooms, but each one is really well finished, spacious and has all the facilities you need. The photos on their website don't lie! Great location between two main resorts and next door to a fabulous pool/spa facility. Free entrance tickets provided by the Villa meant we saved on the 24 Euro daily entrance fee. Whilst the villa location means it's an easy walk to restaurants and shops, the island's brilliant bus service stops just outside the villa, so there's no need to hire a car. All rooms are very clean and spacious with comfortable beds and lots of storage space. One room has a massive walk in closet room! Ours had a private terrace. The breakfast includes a good choice of fruits, cold meats, cereals and eggs cooked to order - all served on the roof terrace with stunning views of the coastline. Staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Wonderful stay

What a wonderful place! Everything was lovely, from the pickup from the port to the room, which was big and clean. The breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruits every day and homemade cakes. The staff working there give you information about what to do/see in the area and do their best to make your stay there as wonderful as possible. They even ironed my dress the first evening when I was there, which I really appreciate. I recommend staying at Villa Marinella, they have more focus on service and it feels more intimate and cozier than other 4-star hotels we have stayed at in Sorrento, before deciding to go to Ischia. The only thing we regretted was not staying there more days, but we will definitely book Villa Marinella again next time.
