Perhaps right for the price. Close to the airport but relatively difficult to get there - especially if snowing. The building and the rooms may need a renovation and proper deep cleaning.

I would not stay here again, it was advertised as a hostel with the words “Helsinki airport” meaning that it should be in close proximity to the airport… with the snow and arriving late it was impossible for me to walk to the hostel. I was freezing during the night as I was not provided with a duvet. I have stayed in hostels before which were 100x better than this for the same price. I also felt the place was unclean.

Dormitorish

Prepare to make your own bed, with folded sheets left on top of the bed. Warm rooms, but very dormitory style. Had the room been hoovered? Not so sure. You might wake up to find puke and cigarette ends in the sink of the communal bathroom, in the morning, like I did. Surprisingly quiet at night, even though could hear every little step outside, earlier on. It takes 20 mins brisk walk from the airport, regardless of what the route planner says. And there is no more bus transportation to get there, so it's either by feet or by taxi, now. Mostly used by local and foreign workers, I think.

Convenient location, but very poor service.

Just 3 minutes drive from the airport (the taxi costs 20 euro one way). Very simple check-in, completely automated. The main issue is that the bed sheets are not fitted on the bed, and the lower sheet cover only ~70% of the bed. I had to sleep with the lower part of my feet on the (dirty) mattress. There is no sink in the room, and for a room without toilet, this is a very big cons. The structure also looks very old, and need a deep renovation

There was only one shower for each gender for about 40 rooms and a few toilets - so better not be in hurry. There was a couple of insects in the room and a noisy fridge. Possible mildew gave me headache until I found a way to jam couple of windows slightly open (there's no ventilation window). Soap and paper towels were missing from some toilets (remember the Corona...).
