Hotel Cala Cuncheddi

I don't know if they don't like British people, but my 89 year old Mum and I found our one particular waiter quite surley. The other staff were ok, but ...I don't know just wouldn't go back to this hotel as we felt s bit unwelcome. It was chic,bcomfortable and clean though.

Wonderful experience. We didn’t have a rental car because we didn’t get the international drivers license and I do think the stay would be better if we had access to a car. It is 40 Euros to Olbia or the airport one way. There is nothing you can walk to so you end up staying at the hotel. The presentation of available activities could be better organized and explained. We were under the impression our room included a tub from the booking process though and were told there are only 2 tubs in the entire hotel and have to be requested. Not a huge deal since there is an ocean and a pool but I was looking forward to the large tub and was bummed out. The beds are not comfortable at all. Quite hard, but you tend to not mind after spending the day on the beach. We did the wine tasting add on and the couples spa/massage add on and enjoyed each a lot. We also added the food option with dinner which made dinner 30/night instead of 40. We ate there every night and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Beautiful and clean hotel located by the beach 10 min from a small town and 20 min from Olbia. Great arrival with a free upgrade. Rooms are large, clean, modern and well equipped except that there are no coffee machine nor wine. The property’s amenities including the gym, pool, lounges and private beach are extremely well maintained. Parking is very convenient too. The main issue was around service: first, hard to be served in English, no room service available, no coffee machine in room or coffee available in the hotel before breakfast starts at 8 am. Also, restaurant hours are very limited so if you want to snack or have something off restaurants times, it is difficult. Finally, we had to leave 1 day earlier and the hotel wouldnt waive our last night charges. I dont think I would go back as there are so many beautiful places in Sardinia but if the downsides dont bother you, I suggest it.

The hotel was good but a)the shower flooded the bathroom and was told it was a design fault and could not be fixed b) on the beach we wanted to sit in a certain place the lifeguard refused to put up a parasol and chairs and was told to sit elsewhere because he could not be bothered and it was too much effort so much for customer choice c) wanted to go to a market was told there was obe in the next town despite us checking onlube was told it was definitely on. We drove there only to find out it was in the evening not when they said so we waated 2 hours getting there

Fabulous hotel with great facilities and in a lovely location. The staff are magnificent.; professional, happy, attentive and engaging. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The food in the restaurants was top quality and skilfully prepared.

From the moment we walked in to the hotel everything was just perfect! Hotel location is extremely memorable and right on the beach with private area for residents. Stunning views from the pool area and balcony of the room. The staff at reception, bar, restaurant, pool, beach to housekeeping could not be more helpful and friendly, service was professional and very attentive. The food and wine to die for! There is nothing that I could fault and not enough space here to describe all pros! Highly recommended, worth every penny and for sure will return!

Resort is very nice with a lovely spa, pool area and beach. Lots of areas around the property to relax and unwind. Very nice breakfast offering. Our only issues were the noise outside our room from the air conditioning system which sounded like a jet engine and the challenge with the TV - need more detailed info to operate

Very nice hotel, it was holly booked when we went, but it didn't feel too busy. It still have a bit of a feelign of resort kind of place. If you were not italian the staff won't be as attentive

They did a very nice job with decor. Room was very comfortable and clean. Never had a problem getting a chair at the beach or pool. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast and lunch were good but would recommend not eating dinner at either restaurant. If you like food (my husband is a chef in NYC) the food was some of the worst we had in Italy. We found multiple places in Olbia that were delicious.

Great beach and location, perfect getaway for couples, not suitable for families.
