Khavi Villa

Khaki villa has a fantastic restaurant, serving the best curry ever. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. There were repairs that could have been made in a few areas, but seems pretty normal for this price range. Convenient location, and comfy enough

Hotel was fab for what we needed. Close to all the main sites and the hotel's tuk tuk driver Olala was fab! He was informative, friendly and prices for trips were reasonable. We also managed to book buses at a good prices and laundry was washed while we were out. Lovely, helpful people.

We enjoyed our stay. The food was great. However, we booked a taxi through the hotel. The driver crashed the car, fortunately we were ok but were left stranded on the roadside for over 2 hours in the boiling heat with the Police and on lookers before we could get back on our way. The hotel wouldn't help us at all, they said that it wasn't their car, even though our contract was with the hotel and we had the receipt to prove it. They finally put the phone down on us. This was really poor service. Advice: make sure you have details of the taxi company they use if you book trips through them.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and overall it was a fairly average hotel. The hotel has a pool, which we wouldn’t use as the pool is immediately next to the restaurant downstairs. Didn’t fancy bathing in front of people having dinner! Very different to what is portrayed on the pictures which must have been taken a while ago!! The room had mosquitos in, shower curtain was very very mouldy, fridge needed a good clean, bed sheets had stains on it and counter top had coffee stains. Cleanliness isn’t their number 1 priority I feel. Service was fine, no real complaints. Location wise was OK too, 3-4 mins from the Royal Palace. I’m sure there are better and worse in Phnom Penh.
