The POD @ Beach Road (SG Clean)

Its not my first time staying here. Overall, it was okay for a short stay. Took the single suite lower bunk, previously stayed on the single mixed and singe suite but in upper bunk, seems too high for me and ended up requesting for a lower bunk instead. It was soooo small and cramp compared to the upper bunk (at least I have walking space). The lower bunk is a front entry, meaning you can really feel the confined space when sleeping. There's still space for you to sit up though. Wall is thin, depending on whether you're a light sleeper and your considerate neighbour. What really can improve is the door. It makes a really loud sound whenever anyone is entering/exiting and there's 2 of them (the main and your suite). Cleanliness is good, at least the washroom are well upkept. They do provide basic breakfast which I hope can be an option since there's much more choices in surrounding area. The location is good to explore SG esp in Haji Ln and beyond. Nightlife, food, drinks are plentiful depending on your budget.

The pod is always my top choice whenever I visit Singapore!

The Pod was clean and surprisingly quiet. This was our first capsule hotel experience. The bed was spacious and very comfortable; we were able to sit upright without hitting our heads (my partner is 5'10"). There was a large locked cubby underneath the bed, and it was only accessible by our key card. They follow a no shoe policy, which helped maintain cleanliness. Bring shower flip flops if you don't like being barefoot in a shower also used by others! The bathrooms are shared but there were plenty to choose from, so you never had to wait. Most bathrooms had their own shower, toilet, sink, and mirror. Breakfast was pleasant. Staff were professional and friendly. We stored our luggage earlier than the check-in time. They even gave us towels then so we could freshen up in the bathrooms after our long plane rides! Note that they sell attraction tickets (e.g. Gardens by the Bay, Night Safari) cheaper than buying them at the venue.

This hotel was not as advertised and was cramped dark and not nice at all. We had to end up paying for an alternative and they wouldn’t give us our money back

So clean and comfortable I could not believe it! Far exceeded my expectations. Would stay here again. Great location :)
