Flamingo Motel

We needed a place to sleep and it did the job. Nothing fancy but clean, and friendly owners One item that needed attention was the lighting, (two burnt out bulbs and a lamp with a broken switch). The price was high but it was Penticton in the summer.

Good: Motel is in a great location near restaurants and stores. It has a cool 1960’s vibe, although it had recent updates. You can park right outside your room. The room was roomy, with a separate bedroom and had a kitchen. It was quiet inside. The couple who run it were friendly. Overall, it was quite clean. The bad: It’s on a busy street. If you’re sitting by the pool, it’s noisy. The pool was cold. They don’t provide pool towels. The front room bed was uncomfortable. After opening the bedroom window, the sill under the security bar was filthy. They ask that you wash your dishes before leaving, so their cleanliness depends on how well the previous guests cleaned them. There was no room service. They provided one small packet of shampoo and conditioner, which wasn’t enough for a family of 4. Overall, though, it’s a decent motel.

Run down and gross

The gardening is impeccable the staff is just amazing they really make u feel at home

It was a very basic motel. Dated and very small. The pool was glistening clean and beautiful.

Check it didn’t go very well. It seemed like they didn’t know we had booked the room. Wasn’t given any info on contact info for them or wifi etc. It too about 30 mins to check in due to them not knowing that I had even booked with Expedia or knew what Expedia was.

We have been to Flamingo Motel before and we enjoyed our stay this time.

close to everything, did not clean room once in 10 days
