Urban Residences

The apartment was not ready at check in time and we were first told 15 minutes then an hour as they ahd problems that morning and all the guests were late checking out. It is a small reception and we had to leave our bags in an unsecure area. When we did get to check in, the room was really dirty. Stains that resembled human excretion were on bed, the shower was not cleaned properly, their were hairs on the bedding, the balcony had cigarette butts and bird poo everywhere and the kichen utencils and oven were uncleaned. There were broen splashes on the roof lighting fittings and we had to take pictures and go to reception to complain. They came up to take their own pictures and argued back but eventually agreed t have someone clean the room but it would be much later in the day as they had to priortise guests checking in. The overall standard of hallways and corridors is digusting with dirt there from the day we arrived to check out 4 days later. This accomodation is not worthy of the 4 star rating and is was utterly disgusting.

I've stayed here several times over the past 6 years. It has always worked well because it is spacious, nicely furnished, and in a convenient location. But this time I was disappointed and frustrated by several things. The most disturbing was an incident in the foyer: the automatic door was out of order and stuck in the closed position. About 15 people were stuck in the lobby, unable to get out of the building. There was no marked emergency exit! No staff member was present to help. We finally found our way out through a dark basement passageway. It's alarming to know that a hotel does not have a proper emergency exit. Also the elevators are VERY VERY slow and small - inadequate, especially when in use by cleaning staff. Several small maintenance issues in room made it seem a bit shabby. They seem to be understaffed. I had stored my bag after checking out, and when I came back to get it 30 minutes later, on the way to the airport, the reception area was locked and no one was there. Finally, there was a lot of noise in the hall on several nights. All in all, this a comfortable apartment, especially for a longer stay, but sadly seems to be going down hill. I hope they'll give more attention to maintenance and service so that I can keep returning.

Location is great if you like shoping! Right in the city of Rotterdam.

Amazingly modern and comfortable apartment which is as is in the pics. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful even with our late check-in in the night. Its age is slightly evident though, but still was an amazing apartment with fantastic views over Rotterdam!

Nice properties, luxurious, lived up to its description, only thing lacking is the washer & dryer in the units. Laundry room downstairs in the basement left a lot more to be desired. Even though it was bright, just felt a bit spooky especially if doing washing at night. Spacious studio units, all fittings are quality and couldn't ask for any better. Perfect for family. Wish I could stay longer.

Great place close to all amenities, transport right on door step, easy to get about.

Over all very nice. We had a problem with tv and took long to be taken care of. It was solved by continued asking . No air conditioning which was a problem,it was very hot but did find fans in closet .They said the people before left the apartment very dirty. I feel it could have been cleaner but maybe they were trying to get us in a quick as they could. Overall it was nice to be able all together at night as a family .

The apartment was spacious, if a bit sparse. There were a couple of not great looking stains on the couch, which also wasn't hugely comfortable to lounge on, but overall it was fine. I think I would have felt better about some of what was lacking, if the prices hasn't been so high. That obviously raises expectation. In positives the location is great. Short 10min walk from the train station and in the heart of the shopping district. The apartment wasn't great in the heat, given all the white surfaces and glass, but I managed to sleep with the one fan directly on me.
