Hotel Indigo Tel Aviv - Diamond District

The hotel is a well maintained three year old hotel in the Diamond District. It is no where near the beautiful beaches of this vibrant city. The rooms are quite good but the quality of this trip was diminished by a staff that either largely was ineffective or simply disconnected from the idea of service. How often as an example does a employee board your lift and begin spraying cleaning solutions on the wall. The staff can best be called disengaged. Other issue is that the pool which is always photographed at night closes at 18:00.

It was ok. There's not much going on in the neighborhood. I tried to cancel my trip to move closer to the beach but it was an advanced purchase and it wasn't allowed. The room offered Nespresso but only 2 capsule, any additional I had to pay for. They also only offered one complimentary bottle of water, it was not replenished daily. The wifi was very spotty and I had trouble conducting business. The minibar was dirty and not restocked. Room service had an extra $5 charge which was fine but in addition asked for tip. The staff was friendly and helpful but I would not recommend this hotel.
