Citypoint Apartments

My mom and I booked in at Citypoint Apartments and really enjoyed the extra space and the apartment after being on a bus tour for a few days. YOU DO NEED TO CHECK IN AT THE hotel nearby like other reviews mention, and the entrance to the apartment building is a eletronic key and the door is around the corner off the main street. Once you know where you're going - it's easy peasy. The location is wonderful for the train station, bus station, and central Galway. We walked everywhere and my mom has Parkinson's and is slowing down, so - believe me when I say we walked everywhere! The apartment was very clean, too. Our only complaint was the dryer in the washer/dryer combo unit did not work. I put laundry in the dryer at night, waited for the cycle before bed, still soaked, put it on again, checked in middle of the night, still soaked, and then checked in the morning and clothes were still soaked. Each time I checked, I just took more clothes out to dry on the radiator - couldn't figure out how to turn the radiators on to speed up the process of drying. Otherwise the space was great, kitchen looked pretty well equipped but we didn't really use it. Perfect for people needing more space or families!

Great location but check-in was difficult as you need to check-in at a nearby hotel. When parking in parking garage someone in next spot had their car over the line into my spot making in extremely tight. Called hotel to have them move their car over but never was moved.

The space was great and location to the city center was nice.

Property was confusing to access - had to check in at the Western Hotel which was not made very clear on check in instructions. Also, three different entrances to the property and it does not instruct which to use. The property had paint peeling off of the walls, dirty bath towels and a COMPLETELY soiled kitchen towel. Overall, not impressed.

We were in apartment 16 that had a great view of the bay. The apartment was clean and modern, and had all the amenities of apartment living. Eyre square was literally our front yard. Less than 5 minute walk to Quay street and some of the best pubs in Galway. Very well lit and safe to walk back to at the end of the night. They do have night security at the door which is comforting. Central and lydell markets are just a short walk. We saved a ton of money cooking breakfast and some other meals. I am so going to stay here again.

Bed was far too soft and the noise outside (people working) at 5am was most unwelcome.

Excellent location, right on the edge of Eyre Square. Stylish, modern apartment with free parking and good WiFi.

These are modern, clean and very comfortable apartments perfectly located in Galway.
