Great for familes...

The hotel was everything we expected it to be and the pools were great for the kids of all ages. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had no problems at all. Word of advice, we heard that during our stay a hotel guest had their bag stolen from beside the pool (main pool can be accessed by the public as is open to the beach), so make sure that you don't leave your valuables lying around. This should not put you off staying in this hotel as it is great and it was not their fault, it could happen on the beach or in the town so this is just some advice. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, friendly helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean, with 2 double beds. We had a balcony overlooking the pool and a view of the beach. Lovely but small beach just next to the hotel, we stayed during the COVID 19 period, so it wasn’t too busy. I imagine it may get very crowded under normal conditions. Plenty of sun beds around the pool, but again, this may get very busy during normal conditions. We were half board, the food was very nice, although sometimes not very hot and I found much of the food was quite salty. Because of COVID 19 there were screens across the food and the staff served you, not the usual help yourself buffet, for obvious reasons, which sometimes lead to long queues, but the staff were doing their best under the circumstances. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, there were a couple of things due to COVID 19 that made it different from the usual holiday, which I’m sure won’t be a problem once the pandemic has passed. There is a decent supermarket and souvenir shop right outside the complex and half a dozen bars and restaurants too. We didn’t go to them, but they looked decent enough. There is a coastal path into Salou itself, which took about an hour to walk, but it’s quite hilly with a lot of steps up and down, not suitable for the elderly or disabled. Or it’ll cost you about 8 euros for a 15 minute taxi ride. Would I go back? Yes I would. That speaks for itself.

Could of been better

The 1st few nights were good but a gang of teenage boys came over for football but while in the hotel they ran riot and no staff said anything to them, they were roaring up and down the corridors, doing nick nacks on each other’s doors and runaway till after midnight...

Great pool area for children. Went all inclusive standard of food very poor pasta or pig trotters. some staff unfriendly , rude, would certainly not return

the hotel is in a quiet, hilly area, a few bars and restaurants are nearby, pool area is nice and beach about 30 metres from pool, staff work very hard to make your stay pleasurable

friendly hotel

Not the first time i have stayed and was not so impressed with the beech cafe and staff this year.overall very good but parts of the hotel are looking tired

This hotel was given a 4star rating, but I do not understand why. Food was under heat plates and I do not know as to who it was geared to. Our room had a view of the private beach, however, this was after you walked out onto the roof top and past the air-conditioner units and the vents on the roof. it was not private as other guest would just walk out on the roof as we were sitting in our tables and chairs. There was no air-conditioning in the elevators. When my wife and I were at the station where a cook made fresh omelets and pancakes, my wife explained to the cook in Spanish that she wished for one omelet and one for me(her husband) the cook apparently did not pay attention. The cook gave me one omelet and not my wife. When I looked at him puzzled and tried to politely tell him in Spanish that we were missing my wife's, he responded in Spain with "What do you want??!!!" When my wife politely explained that there was a miss-understanding, replied with "OH MY GOD!!!"

Average hotel, really close to the beach

Average hotel. Practically on the beach, lovely pool, lots of room for everyone. Room was very spacious and quite clean. A/C didn't work so we slept with the balcony door open. Food is terrible - wouldn't bother eating at the hotel for anymeal apart from breakfast. The staff seemed quite rude, pushed past people a lot during meal times. I would recommend taking your own hairdryer if you need one. I'd recommend the hotel if you wanted a relaxing beach / pool holiday. It's also very easy to get to the neighbouring towns via a bus, and also easy to get to Port Aventura World (€2 each way) and Barcelona (€20 round trip). Our room was facing the Main Street which got noisy at night - coaches arriving at all times.

Nice choice

Rather comfortable accommodations for the price. Clean room, good service. One drawback was that we got the 2nd floor and the trees were blocking any view from the window. Otherwise it is a very good place. Will come again.
