Shower fixture was loose could not use it at all but informed hotel manager. Affordable stay one night is good but the room to close to road and noisy wouldn't be suitable if longer stay. Overall was great.

Staff were lovely. Room was average. Carpet needs a deep clean. My feet were black from walking on the carpet! I ended up washing the kitchen floor as it was disgusting. There are people living in some rooms and they are very inconsiderate to anyone else staying there. Slamming doors, shouting at each other using vile language at all hours of the night and their kids go around knocking on doors and run around the car park (directly outside the rooms) until MIDNIGHT! Staff were onsite when this was happening and they didn’t do anything about it. Really want my money back. Please read all the low rated reviews as they tell the truth! Don’t waste your money here.

Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. All the mod cons available. Good wifi, heating, selection of tv channels and pleasant staff.

Large room with excellent amenities, comfortable bathroom and air-conditioned. Close to supermarket and fast food chains.

Room was excellent and clean and exactly what we requested We had apartment 1 which is the closest to the road - lot of road noise, people stood outside our room (on the footpath) talking until the early hours.

We were travelling from out of town and stayed one night to do some shopping in Hamilton. Me , my wife And our 1 year old daughter. We were shocked on arrival that most rooms were occupied by clients from ministry of social welfare. Outside our room was littered in smoke buds on the ground. The in the next room over was sitting outside smoking. The entire night we didnt get any sleep, due to people playing loud music, in rooms and in cars, slamming doors, yelling, kids running up and down outside our room at 10pm till early hours of the morning. Then around 5am someone knocked on our demanding money. But we never opened the door. We were close to packing our bags and leaving but since it was one night just put up with it. We actually stayed here some 5 or 6 years ago and had pleasant stay. I understand covid has put pressure on businesses but you should not have full paying customers staying alongside rift raft like what we saw. We will never ever return! The room was reasonably clean and spacious as the only reasonable comments we can make.

The nice fine clean friendly experience was marred by MSD guests who were thoughtless, noisey, abusive, shocking, smoking. Police involved after the 3rd day of discontent.

Cheap and clean. Little bit of road noise and from other guests but good value for money.

Arriving back to the motel in the late afternoon there was a physical fight which resulted in two people being arrested with the police onsite for approx 1 hour, and subsequent follow up visits during the evening which made me feel safer. I would not stay here alone. I was relieved our unit was towards the front as I did not have to pass those involved in the violence. The unit was as pictured. Very clean and spacious. I feel for management during this difficult year and wish them all the best, however it was the public who called the police.

I was disappointed, there was a smell in the room, the TV remote didn't work, the heat pump didn't work and the towels looked old. And the noises that kept coming and going all night from other people, from what looked like, are living there, was too much. Got no sleep! wouldn't stay there again.
