Nice location and simple place to stay for the night

Get what you pay for, decent room close to the train station and Camden

Exactly what we paid for, room was small but clean and kept well, bed was comfy, staff were lovely and friendly, would be happy to go there again :)

Bed was comfy, but that was about all the positives.l unfortunately. Doesnt look like the pictures at all, our room was small and shabby, carpet wasn't even all the way to the walls, tv was too high to properly see, bathroom super tiny (shower and toilet squeezed in to the space of a normal shower cubicle), there was a nail sticking up in the carpet next to the bed, two flights of stairs up to our room were dangerously narrow. There are definitely better places for the money, please don't be deceived by the pictures online, i think they may have been taken 15 years ago.

It was a bed in a room and close to our evening venue, it was just about ok, the room was sad, it needS upgrading to justify paying £140 per night with no breakfast! There was a nail in the carpet that I kept treading on it was the step from the bathroom to the room. The bed was very unstable and needs the bolts tightening up. The night bell to gain entry after the door was locked wasn’t answered and so I had to get up to let my partner in!

We stayed in the Deluxe room at this hotel and unfortunately, there are more cons than pros to this hotel, they are; Cons: ¤ The hotel is badly in need of refurbishment, the carpets are all freyed at the edges, the shower tray would not drain and almost flooded the bathroom. ¤ The bed was on the floor and not raised up (this wasnt too much of an issue for us), but this could be problematic for others. There is also a step into the bathroom, again you would need to be careful of this at night. ¤ The room was facing the road, right on a set of traffic lights and a cross hatch junction which resulted in a lot of car horns going off, but this had quietened down by the time we got back Saturday night and was very quiet Sunday morning. ¤ The kettle would only work if you held it down! ¤ The man on reception at check in, had no customer service skills, however the man who was on reception when left on the Sunday was very friendly, however by the it was a little too late. Pros: ¤ We only paid £20 for the room as we redeemed our free night stay through hotels.com to stay here. Next time we will go for something a little more fancy. I would have been very cross paying anymore than this. ¤ It was only a 30 minute walk to the Roundhouse. You get what you pay for, but Hotels.com do you go back and review them to make sure they fit with your image?

Well, the staff an extremely friendly and made our stay welcome. The bar is very nice and cosy. The room was good we wasn't looking for anything fancy. Loved the private bathroom, the pillows were a bit hard but I was still able to sleep. The location is brilliant

The hotel was okay, it was enough for what was needed. The receptionist was very talkative and after a four hour train journey it was very frustrating to be told how to boil a kettle when I am well aware on how to boil one. The shower was a bit dirty at the bottom but it was strong enough. All in all it was good enough for what we paid.

I didn't like having to wait at the desk to check in when the receptionist acknowledged me and then walked away!!!
