great breakfast and good location for local events and 20 minutes to beaches on both forks. at first my mattress seemed perfect but seemed to get a little soft for my comfort level

Blinds to block out morning sunlight did not close all the way down and we got woken up a few times early because of the sun. Never alerted staff because we didnt want to pack up everything to change rooms etc.

I checked into the hotel after 2am after a very long drive to get there, and was given the room next to the indoor pool. I was only able to get approx. 3 hours sleep due to a couple of problems. 1) there were no light-blocking’ curtains, so my east-facing room was flooded with light around 6:30. 2) around 7:30, construction began in the pool area, right next to my room. There was drilling, concrete grinding etc. so it was impossible to sleep. Whoever had checked me in had to know about the construction that was going to begin a few hours after I checked in, but they didn’t tell me about it.

The hotel was very nice, but the staff was somewhat rude to us. Around 10 pm a woman came up and said we got a noise complaint when we were in bed and going to sleep already, and at 5:30am we received a wake up call when we didn’t ask for one.
