Grosvenor Suites

My main disappointment is that there is no kettle in sight, everything else but no kettle to able to make a tea in the morning, hence my review for comfort. I tried to use the saucepan to boil the water yet I couldn't get the hob to work. There is no reception or staff to communicate this too and like many people I need a tea in the morning. However the shower is great and great location in Edinburgh

Apartment was perfect for my needs although it was a little bit tired. Good amenities and great location. Overall great value for money and I would stay again. One problem was lack of reception open early to enable me to leave bags at checkout before work.

We paid for a suite room, complete with kitchen. However upon entering our room, we discovered it was very small, barely big enough for the queen bed. We immediately returned to reception, which was a few blocks away in a different building and lodged a complaint. We were told that there had been a mistake and we were given the incorrect room. However, since there were no vacancies, we were stuck with the small room. We had to demand a 50% credit, which was given. We also reported that the TV remote was missing, which was never rectified making the TV unusable. Additionally, the cushioned table/foot stool next to the bed had numerous stains from questionable orgin.

lovely clean room. No reception to check in you received an email to inform of a code to gain access to the entrance door and your room door. Easy to use and less time consuming. Excellent place to stay. Only downside is the lack of parking facilities
