Hotel Rumi Punku

What a wonderful hotel. I stayed here 4 nights then another 2 on the same trip. The location is very convenient for walking to the historic center and is near good restaurants. It is on a modest hill so take note if you have mobility issues - though local transport can easily pick up/drop off at the front door. The property itself is pretty, safe, and well maintained. It has a very comfortable "lounge" that serves an excellent breakfast and offers coca tea at all hours. Filtered water is available for filling your water bottles. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I loved the beds / bedding. The rooms are pretty and have windows that open. Most require a short flight of stairs to access. The staff are ever present, friendly, helpful, and informative. They gave great restaurant suggestions and helped us with laundry, in hotel COVID testing, extended stay, money exchange, etc. Rumi Punku is top notch and one of my best hotel stays anywhere.

This was such a gem of a find! We loved our stay here! The courtyard area was so adorable. We enjoyed the breakfast, tea available 24 hours a day, filtered water dispenser, and the included hotel shuttle. We hiked the Inca Trail and the hotel was so accommodating letting us leave our bags in our rooms since we left so early. They stored them for us while we were gone and had them waiting for us in our new rooms when we returned after the hike. We utilized a tour guide offered through the hotel to drive us around the sacred valley as well which was handy. Overall we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend! I never write reviews for things like this..... just saying!

Best location and staff!

The perfect stay in Cusco! Wonderful location and staff. Seamlessly stored our belongings while we left hiking for 4 days. Helped with all logistics. Extremely comfortable and wonderful shower after hiking! Highly recommend!!

The hotel is well maintained and in a convenient location, only 5 minutes walk from the Plaza. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hot stone massage we booked at the hotel is excellent.

Amazing value, perfect location

I was drawn to this property because of their Incan arch doorway, I'm glad I listened to all of the great reviews and stayed here. My room was spacious and meticulously clean. They provided a stocked refrigerator with very reasonable prices that definitely came in handy. Location wise you are about two blocks to the Plaza de Armas and to San Blas where most of the restaurants and city sights are located. They put out a nice breakfast consisting of yogurts, breads, fruits, and eggs cooked to order. I was in Cusco for a four-day Inca trail hike. I left the hotel and returned 4 days later to stay one more night. My suitcase and laundry that I had left behind were already in my room when I returned. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Cusco (which I hope I do).

This was a nice hotel by a lot. Most of the staff is friendly and they hook you up with tour guides. The beds are very comfy. The bathrooms could be updated and the rooms are pretty small. However there is one safety hazard I had in my room. The floors are beautiful, but need to be checked. There was a very Sharpe pice sticking up and thankful i was wearing socks it tore 3 pairs of my socks by being caught.

This is a nice and quiet hotel located about 3 blocks from the main plaza. This location allows for easy access to the plaza and shopping areas, but is far enough away to avoid the noisy crowds and hustlers. The rooms are not large, but the staff is friendly. The rooms are situated around two courtyards.

We really liked the structure of the property, rooms were perfect for our stay and clean. The staff in the reception were very nice and helpful. Great location as it’s close to everything. The staff during breakfast must improve. We were disappointed by the lack of service, as they preferred to chat amongst themselves. On our last day we went for breakfast around 8:30 and everything was empty, and the staff didn’t refill anything.
