Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake

Food and service are tip top. Concierge staff are super friendly and helpful, high English standard. The best hotel I ever stayed in Asia.

Excellent location, right next to the lake, quite . Beautifully maintained. Recommend! The only reservation: traffic can be very congestion especially during holidays. Hard to gat taxi.

My family and I had a most wonderful experience at the Four Seasons Hangzhou 2 weeks back. The hotel grounds and rooms were beautiful - great effort in retaining traditional oriental architecture but with modern conveniences. Our experience was also greatly enhanced by the 6-star service which the Four Seasons Hangzhou staff provided, from the manager to the reception and concierge staff, the executive chefs and the restaurant staff! They were all incredibly warm, helpful and knowledgeable and never failed to amaze me by being able to anticipate my every need and going out of their way to assist me, always with a smile!. Overall, this was one of my best hotel stays in my many years of hotel stays around the world.

Again, I am a happy customer of four seasons. The hotel meets all my expectation. The staffs behind the concierge desk are super helpful. For example, when they knew we were planning to take a bike ride the next morning, they got the bikes ready before 5:30am. The cleaning lady took care all the detail. When she found that we were washing our own clothes, she asked to bring in the bars for hanging them herself. Just feel that we were taken care of so well. BTW, try that boating + breakfast private tour in the morning. It is such a wonderful experience

It was a really good stay. The WL Bistro, we discovered ants while we were eating breakfast. The food was fantastic, though.

Beautiful hotel next to the west lake!

You may have room service knocking on your door very early in the morning for an order you did not place even when you have the do not disturb light on. Also, do not use the taxi driver that the hotel works with. He will overcharge you. However, lobby staff Penny was very helpful and informative.

We stayed three nights in April 2018 and had a truly rejuvenating and lovely experience. The hotel is situated within an easy walk to West Lake and the Botanical Gardens -- and the hotel grounds are as lovely as the surrounding area -- full of beautifully tended garden paths, quiet spots to sit in the shade and take in the trees, flowers, and eye-catching architecture of the hotel and its charming stone features and fountains. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful - from the Reception (warm welcome) and Concierge staff (helpful tips and great restaurant suggestions), to the housekeeping staff (best turn-down service ever), to the Ocean, the WL Bistro manager, who went out of his way to make us feel at home. The WL Bistro breakfasts included a myriad of excellent options - a great way to start the day. Our room was well-appointed, comfortable, and spotless. Perfect for the both business traveler (spacious writing and work station) and a romantic get-away (lovely sun room/terrace where we would take breakfasts). The gym was well-equipped and the indoor pool was a serene and lovely. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the spa - but the ladies locker room had an incredible steam room and ice fountain. I'm already planning to visit again next year and a trip to Hangzhou wouldn't be complete without a stay here.
