The Dunstane Houses

This was our first stay in Edinburgh. The hotel is beautifully located. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I will definitely be returning, can't wait!

Excellent hotel in all respects. Quite expensive but Edinburgh Fringe month always will be and I have to say the hotel was worth paying for and the service from the staff was amazing, nothing too much trouble.

We stayed at Dunstane Houses for the weekend 2-4 Aug. What a wonderful stay!! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the standards of service and cleanliness we outstanding!! Every member of staff was helpful and informative and made sure that our needs we met or exceeded every time. The hotel has a fabulous feel - more like staying in someone's home as opposed to a hotel. The room was immaculate, quiet and well ventilated. Bed was comfortable (and we are sticklers for a comfy bed that many fail to live up to expectation) and the amenities were everything we wanted from simplistic check-in and check-out right through to wi-fi access and access to food and beverages. A short 10 minute walk into the city centre sets this up as a fantastic location. The hotel is served well by a bus stop outside with a bus every 3 to 4 minutes. A taxi cost us £7.50 into town. I would highly recommend this location for anyone wishing to stay. When next in Edinburgh I will definitely use again. Well done guys!!

Nice stay - very comfortable- great breakfast!

Good location, fantastic room with large comfortable bed. Staff was fantastic and breakfast was excellent.
