Cute border town

We spent just one night here during a trip through Switzerland. We stayed in a double room and the pictures reflect the room well. The outlets are not very conveniently placed, so if you have an extension cable, this is the place to use it. The kitchenette was small but usable, with pots, pans, plates, and utensils. It was a little unclear from the site whether we were allowed to use it, but when we arrived there was a sign on the kitchen cabinet that simply states they will charge you an extra cleanup fee if the kitchen is especially dirty. We were careful and did not get charged anything extra. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. There were all sorts of cold cuts and cheeses, pate, fresh bread, pretzels, and pastries, yogurt, cereal, jam, fruit, eggs, bacon, and sausage, and even chocolates to finish your meal. There was a very friendly person there serving coffee to order, refilling everything, and cleaning up. Parking at the hotel was free and easy. We did not see much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but they gave us free bus passes that we used to quickly get into town. The town was very cute and worth the stop.

Good value, huge rooms

A pleasant hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The checkin was quick and very helpful. The room was huge if a big clinical. We had our family of 4 in one room with 3 double beds and it was still spacious. The breakfast was decent, a small selection of decent quality foods.

Clean and functional

Very clean and comfortable. Good on-site parking. Staff extremely helpful. Good breakfast buffet spread. Bedroom large with table and chairs, small kitchen and fridge. Bed mattress very firm. Fairly costly rates but room can sleep 4 (with sofabed) so better value for families. This hotel meets your practical needs but feels functional, without character. Important to note that the single lift does not operate after 9pm when the Reception closes. Must use stairs then. Get ground floor room if stairs a problem. 15 min walk to old town and restaurants etc. Reception staff give you a free bus pass on check-in, and advice on which buses to use and their routes. Short walk to bus stop with frequent buses. Very handy. Ask staff to mark public bathing area on town map for you. There is one area beyond the thermal spa complex that has changing rooms, toilets, cafe. Also recommend ferry trip to Meersburg on opposite side of lake Quaint town. Promenade with many cafes.

Good place for a family visit

Nice big rooms and a good breakfast every day. Free parking, good wifi. Neighborhood is working class but safe and fairly close to Konstanz Zentrum. Not super modern but really fine and beds are comfortable, everything works.

Nice and clean hotel

I stayed here recently, the place is very quiet and clean. the Wi-Fi was ok, not the best but it worked. car park on premises is handy staff very helpful and friendly especially the friendly ( I think polish) lady in the breakfast room, she's lovely breakfast buffet is very nice too about 10 minute walk to a small supermarket Highly recommend this place.

Close walk to downtown, loved the kitchen

Clean, wonderful to have a small kitchen, saved some money there. Walking distance to down town. Staff helpful, mulch-langual.

Friendly and quiet hotel

I enjoyed staying here. Every staff member was friendly and very helpful. My room faced the street but it was extremely quiet. The hotel is well located about 5 minutes walk from a great supermarket that has everything you may need for self catering. The bus stop is also there and its a 5 minute trip to the centre of town
