Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach

Great hotel. Awesome customer service

Nicely remodeled hotel, but our room could have used a better cleaning (chips crumbs on the couch and sticky drink rings on the nightstand), but it was comfortable. I also thought the front desk representatives should have been dressed more appropriately for a Hyatt. I realize it's a sister property and not the full Hyatt experience, but they were dressed in jeans and athletic jackets, no name tags and just sloppy appearance. Some areas of the hotel were also poorly lit (i.e. just outside of the main lobby elevators).

Not the nicest Hyatt I’ve stayed at before. Check in was 4pm (not the usual for a hotel) and I was asked if I wanted to check in 1.5 hours earlier. For $25 more they did and immediately gave me a room. So if there was a room already ready why make me wait 1.5 hour versus charging me $25 more to go into a room that fully ready to go. I consider that bad business. During the night there was loud partying all down my 4th. At 4am I called the front desk who was clueless to all this. My view was of air condition units. When I checked in the lady said “our hotel is not known for its views”. She was right. Will never stay here again.

Had a great visit with my family. My granddaughter loved the heated roof top pool. The beds were also really comfortable so I stayed an extra night!

Nice quaint spot at the Pike, great for some shopping half a day. Plenty of high-end restaurants too. There's always a person or two in the lobby, professional and attentive. They are wearing masks and have sanitizer stations at high touch areas. Front doors to the hotel lock in the evening, which is nice since there are homeless people constantly around. We were upgraded into a bigger room free of charge, so we had an extra bed. Problem was, not sure if the bleach was strong enough, as our bed had pillows with blood (maybe after a wash or two) and lots of make-up. We resolved it by switching it with the other bed's pillows. Our sink drain was stuck down, but it was quickly fixed by the front desk & maint. No housekeeping service because of covid-19, which was fine for us, and there was a quick eats shop in the lobby that was pretty decent. We might've been charged the wrong item? (A caesar salad price, but we got a wrap...) but I don't know, I don't like giving people a hard time on my vacation, as you can already read from this. All in all, for the price (when not during a convention, obv) it was a great spot to be in, and would come back if I am able to next time!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Hotel on 01/01/21 to 01/03/21 for a weekend stay. The front desk was always friendly. The rooms were clean but they were not stocked with all the necessary supplies, such as not cups for the coffee maker and not trash can liners for the trash cans. Them room size overall is good for two people more than that and it would seem to be pushing it. Off-site parking was annoying because it would spending a substantial amount on parking. Overall it was nice, but they were just not on their "A" game most likely because of Covid-19 and just them not being on their toes with their service.

Comfortable, room was very clean. Staff very helpful. Places to eat nearby, would stay here again.

A very nice hotel. Clean & quiet. Our room was spacious, well decorated, comfortable & clean. I loved the room for chilly mornings. The Keurig was nice to have in the room but I wish I had brought my own Peet’s pods.

Our stay was brief but the hotel was clean, cheerful and comfortable.

Had a small hiccup when i first arrived, after that day though staff was very pleasant. Nice hotel and great atmosphere. The people working in the coffee shop were great!
