Hotel Sol Algarve by Kavia

We had a great one night stay. The triple room was perfect for myself and my daughters. In light of the current situation we were looking for a small hotel and the Sol Algarve certainly got it right. The hotel is super clean and adhering to Covid guidelines. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it is a five minute walk to the marina and a great selection of restaurants. Would definitely stay here again

Esta muy bien ubicado cerca de la estación de tren, estación de buses, a tres minutos de la vía peatonal en donde encuentras los principales restaurantes y lugares de atracción turística. Muy buena atención del chico joven de la recepción muy atento y amable, gracias. Este hotel tiene un problemita con las puertas de las habitaciones, las cierran golpeándolas con demasiada fuerza cuando se pueden cerrar suavemente con la tarjeta magnética que sirve para abrir y cerrar, esto implica que cuando la gente sale del hotel a tempranas horas en la mañana te despiertan los portazos e incluso el personal de servicio cierra las puertas a la fuerza. Este problemita es muy fácil solucionar: solicitar a los huéspedes usar la tarjeta magnética para abrir y cerrar la puerta. Espero sea aceptada mi sugerencia para mejorar aún más su bien servicio.

What a great value! The service was excellent---The person who checked us in, the lady with the 5 month old baby, was so gracious and helpful! The location is outstanding, really close to the Old Town and walking distance to the water. The room was very clean and cute. Although small, it was cleverly laid out with enough space to place our suitcases so that we did not feel crowded. The TV was a bonus, as was the parking garage. It was well worth the 5 euros to be able to park easily. Breakfast was adequate, a good start to the day. I would definitely return and would recommend!

There was no fridge or mini bar in the room, they also do not have any alcohol drinks or beverages in the hotel. Location is normal, few minutes to the main bus station, store or restaurants. Breakfast menu very narrow, the hotel does not have anything for people who do not tolerate lactose. They do not have eggs for breakfast (mainly croissants, fruit, yoghurt). Croissants were disaster, I did not even eat them. Juices were mixed with the water. Bad view from the window. Staff was quite friendly.

Sol Algarve is a 3 minute walk from the Faro train station; a five minute walk to old down and the marina. the surrounding area looks a bit derelict but there is evidence of the neighborhood is improving. Staff were kind, pleasant and helpful. Rooms were extremely clean. The hotel has a cute courtyard in the middle where we ate breakfast and evening cocktails. I would recommend staying here.

Great for the price. Small, clean, friendly staff and close to all of the good touristy stuff. The only gripe I have is that the shower is small and the assembly next to the water handle gets the full heat of the hot pipe...so watch yourself.

Great location for sightseeing, eating, train station, and bus station.

Very convenient location for an early train.
