Pearl on the Concho SureStay Collection by Best Western

Due to city water issues -there were problems -the hotel was not prepared -we had been promised from “advertised” hot breakfast and told there would not be breakfast offered as stated by the polite blond headed young lady but also nothing would be served. The next am a young man did offer a pastry :/ We wanted a good breakfast so we had to get out and drive in the drizzling rain so we could get a hit breakfast. We felt they should had offered fruit/ yogurts something somewhat healthy. We checked in at check in time and they had talked - more than likely no breakfast would be offered- sadly nor did they attempt to offer a breakfast. There was another negative of no microwave in the rooms which was surprising and a disappointing if we did want to heat up something from the store- The front office had called us 3x that evening “not to drink the water” so we were even hesitant to bathe in it after receiving calls of restrictions of the h20.

Hotel was ok, was unique but older. My wife was fine with everything but the ac dripping into the tub, mold and slime were coming out. I was ok with that but wished the hotel was nicer was hoping for a romantic stay with the spouse. Could have booker cheaper and nicer but went this route.

Great experience, great staff

We came on a medical trip, so convenience was a primary issue. Location was about two blocks from the clinic/hospital. Chose king size bed. The room, on first floor near front, was relatively small, but okay. No microwave. Small bathroom might benefit from a hand grab on wall in front of commode. Shower head provided strong and pleasant stream. Did not make use of atrium but appearance was quite pleasant. Personal taste would be for slightly softer bed tops, but were firm and supportive. TV was large and had lots of programming. On night stand, had lamp and a connector for plugging in two other items. Could use a USB connection hub, either included or separate. Price was reasonable. Note: person in room next door had been there for work for 4 months and we both felt well taken care of.

Great location, quiet location, hotel is older but still is a good overall stay. Overall enjoyed my stay

We had to pay a $40 deposit for cleaning fee. We went to relax and enjoy ourselves.. For them to tell us the $40 will be returned if we to clean up after ourselves.. really

Hotel room had been cleaned but smelled like bad BO. Over all, it is very outdated. Beds are very small, everything just seems old. A peewee football team was staying there during our stay so Atrium was vey loud. Kids running around everywhere. I understand it is the fun area with the pool and golf, but seemed out of control which is not really hotel fault since parents that were there were all drinking and just as loud. Basically, if it was not for indoor pool, this place would sadly probably be out of business or would not be able to charge the $100+ rate per night. More like a $50 night motel. However, the staff is awesome and the food at the restaurant is really good. With some new carpet, paint, beds, this could be a really nice place. If kids did not want to swim, we would not have even considered staying there. Also, free wifi is awesome but could never get any connection, so that was downer as well.

Too expensive for age & quality or lack thereof Hotel. Giant (3in) cockroach alive in bathroom. Cheap towels ( scratchy). Room smelled old, we should have left but wanted to see our grandchildren more. All-in.All RIP OFF
