Residence Hilda

The best place we’ve stayed in for a Europe trip. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and great service.

This is my second time staying at Residence Hilda. It's in a great location and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable -- I highly recommend!

It was a pleasure to stay 10 nights at Residence Hilda. The apartment was cleaned so well everyday and the apartment itself was lovely. Florence is relatively small and the location of the hotel was ideal to see the sights on foot. If we were to return to Florence, we would for sure do our best to stay again at Residence Hilda.

Spacious, comfortable and clean. There during heat wave and was grateful for A/C. Staff was gracious and helpful . I would highly recommend. It was wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at Residence Hilda. The staff is awesome. Everyone was incredibly nice, helpful and professional. We mostly worked with Marzanna and Valentina, but Gabriel also helped us. They arranged guides, no line tickets (on short notice!), taxis, parking for our car, and gave us terrific restaurant recommendations. They also allowed us to check out a bit late (and stored our things) as we had an event in the afternoon in the city before leaving for the airport. The suite was spotlessly clean and furnished with everything one would expect at a high end hotel including robes, slippers and toiletry amenities. Plus, the air conditioning worked very well, which was important as it was more than 90 degrees while we were there. Also, the wifi worked perfectly. The location is fantastic. It is less than 5 min walk to the Duomo, a few minutes to the Accademia and also walking distance to the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, and many other churches and areas of town with great restaurants. All this, and the property is very quiet. It is on a small one way street that gets almost no traffic. Honestly, we have rarely had a property exceed our expectations like this. Thank you so much to everyone at Residence Hilda for making our stay in Florence so delightful, comfortable and easy!

This property was in a great location, very clean and we loved the layout of our deluxe suite. We traveled with our son and he used the pull out sofa in the living room. There was also a kitchenette and table with seating for four. The bathroom and main bedroom were spacious as well. This property had a lift. We could walk 12-15 min to the train station and the hotel will call a taxi or private car for you when needed. The front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. We definitely would stay there again. We also felt very safe walking around at night. The only downside was that our room was street side and noisy some evenings. We brought earplugs and loved the location so that didn’t bother us too much. The beds and pillows were pretty firm, and we like them softer, but overall Residence Hilda was a great place to stay for the week and we would stay again.

Amazing location. Suite was quite and well kept. Very spacious. Comfortable bed. Super friendly staff!
